Kojima equaling the Beatles in your analogy is pretty much exactly the point he’s making.

Haha exactly. My response to that quote would be that no, no it doesn’t at all. It’s also worth mentioning that something grabbing your attention is different than paying an exorbitant price to actually buy it. A lot of people will praise this thing for how silly it is because internet comments are free. An…
The Sega CD has a solid or better library, but the rest? Yeah. Not good.
Because you’re actually looking objectively at what this is and why you should pay for it. I applaud their quirky inventiveness, but there’s little to no reason to buy this as opposed to just reading about it and getting a chuckle, which I think is their main goal anyways. This is more like showing off a concept car…
I think games are pretty weird as it is. If one were to take in a broad view that’s crowded by the GTAs and Maddens of the world, then yeah it looks pretty bland. I think if you look just below the surface there are countless things that are pretty unique though. There are games where you barely “play” the game in the…
I don’t doubt that Magic is so complex that it could stump a computer. It probably gained those capabilities shortly after Weatherlight, Visions, and Mirage came out and I was like “Wow I loved this game but now there’s too much BS.”
Pretty much exactly what I said earlier today, so obviously I agree! I think in my version you simply eliminate the whole “siege” plot that led to the dragon getting killed in episode 4. Missandei doesn’t get captured in that hypothetical, but who cares? You still have the TWO dragons in episode 5, and one of them…
When you play a lot of video games but are getting older and only recognize about 30% of these without reading the description.....
He asked for a synopsis of the article, hence my response. I think your comments would be better directed to the author.
Community feedback is good but people should be constructive instead of mean.
I guess it depends on how many open-world and/or zombie games you yourself have played.
I’ll never understand why Marvel movies starting requiring 30+ jokes/gags in them, which started with Age of Ultron, effectively downgrading the movie for me. It’s like after Guardians was a hit they felt the need to make every movie like that. I suppose people like it though.
I actually rank Thor about the same but basically flip flop the reasons: I thought the otherworldly stuff was cool and interesting, and when Thor came to earth I just thought it was a lazy fish out of water-type story. Agreed on the generic final boss.
May need to start at convincing them not to proactively kill it entirely.
If possible maybe you could elaborate a little on the downsides to doing this. There are possibilities of losing your save files, etc. I’m sure it’s in the linked materials but the article makes it seem cut and dry (dried?) which it isn’t at the moment.
I understand this sentiment but at the same time when the fad ends you’re going to get shitty-looking Unreal Engine games instead, which I personally think is worse. I’m all for some games doing the pixel art for nostalgia and literally making a lot more games possible with a small team while the big budget games can…
Unfortunately my wife and I were probably seen as insulting at the ryokan we stayed at for a couple of days. Brought out this amazing and probably expensive dinner (not sure as it was part of a package), and even with our “we’re up for anything” attitude, we just could not get much of it down. Monkfish liver tofu…
If you like retro action games I can’t see not picking this up. Trailer just looked awesome, and I usually have a “I guess we’ll see” reaction to any game trailer.
I still can’t figure out why they made Axel look like he should be permanently attached to a couch holding a beer while basking in the glow of a TV playing a football game. Like he’s not even built like a bigger dude who’s tough, like the other guy in Bloodsport. He just literally looks like a mostly out of shape man…
Thanks for the suggestions. For what it’s worth I think S-Town is just out of this world and doesn’t adhere to the genre at all, and in a good way. It’s just a fantastic piece of media that took turns that the creators didn’t even necessarily want or expect. Just amazing.
