Because the scene is superfluous otherwise.  Jon arriving at the wall and then end scene would’ve been enough if that wasn’t the case.

Yeah I think if you take the final season as making the best of a bad situation (it’s too short, no source material, etc.) it’s still enjoyable even though I definitely had my issues. The show was entertaining as a whole, even if the last season was a slap dash effort.

She also said a lot about liberating people, so yeah.  Aspiring rulers make a lot of general proclamations that could be construed in any number of ways.

Dany being bothered by Jon’s popularity has no teeth if there isn’t some legitimate, non-petty reason for her to be threatened by him. It at least gave some tangible contribution as to why she deviated from straightforward conquering. She became more paranoid and inclined to show herself as a legit conqueror. In my

They should’ve just left that out that meta bullshit entirely.

I’m not sure what the haters wanted as far as Jon’s ending. His “punishment” made logical sense for all parties involved in deciding it, and it just so happened it wasn’t so bad for Jon himself either. It was a great bit of storytelling in a season that I thought had legitimate problems.

I think we all know that there hasn’t been one single true protagonist in this series.  If it comes to pass in about one episode out of 8 seasons, that’s not worth very much anyways.  Whoever is more or less interesting is completely a matter of opinion.

I don’t doubt that Magic is so complex that it could stump a computer.  It probably gained those capabilities shortly after Weatherlight, Visions, and Mirage came out and I was like “Wow I loved this game but now there’s too much BS.”

Agree about the tone but I don’t think HBO gains anything here. If anything, releasing the next book now (or just before season 8 maybe) would’ve been all the more publicity for the show after a long layoff.

I don’t know why you add that last bit.  Everything you said made sense, then you throw that in.

Pretty much exactly what I said earlier today, so obviously I agree! I think in my version you simply eliminate the whole “siege” plot that led to the dragon getting killed in episode 4. Missandei doesn’t get captured in that hypothetical, but who cares? You still have the TWO dragons in episode 5, and one of them

I also didn’t realize that dragon breath = wrecking ball. At one point he even let off what was the equivalent of blowing out a single birthday candle, and an entire tower completely fell to the ground.

Looks like you enjoyed the episode far more than most, at least that’s what it seems to me.

I think you’re being kind. She’s been shown to have big aspirations but there wasn’t much in the way of her toying with “going to the dark side” until these recent slap dash episodes. Hell, earlier in the series it was about her learning how to rule and mostly having a quivering face any time she had to make a real

So basically just wait til next year when there’s no pressure and probably more rides.

When you play a lot of video games but are getting older and only recognize about 30% of these without reading the description.....

In the gif above with the whip/knife transition, doesn’t it also look like the knife is sharpe on the wrong side?  I don’t know much about knives or weapons in general, but it looks like the business end (the bottom) is blunt and the top part is sharp.

He asked for a synopsis of the article, hence my response. I think your comments would be better directed to the author.

Community feedback is good but people should be constructive instead of mean.

I don’t think you can worry about optics when creating any kind of art, but that’s a matter of opinion of course. A broad stroke, I confess.
