Tactics Ogre is a fantastic game that I really wish was easier for Western audiences to get a hold of. I only have it as a download from the Playstation Store to my PSTV. I believe that PSP is the only platform that it came out for. (PSTV was essentially PSP hardware that plugs into your tv - not marketed over here

Felt like a raid wipe with Nynaeve coming in to cast Mass Res

It’s the dreds.

It’s about ethics in gaming journalism.

San Andreas is one of the 5 or so console games that I can go back to every couple of years and play again and again. The game certainly has it’s faults-but the music selection is great, the supporting cast, especially the further you get into the game, is incredible and hilarious.

Tried to get into FFXIV last week. Apparently you buy the game on one website, create your username on another website, and then you need to go to a third website to buy your game time? Bleh.

Random comment, but the guy playing Dickie Moltisanti reminds of Richie Aprille every time I see this trailer.

I can’t help but think the mindset that fans deserve to do whatever they want with protected content out of love and developers should be cool with it is an evolution of the old Napster/P2P mindset.

People create content and have rights to that content. No amount of love for it extinguishes those legal rights.

Are they actually selling a full remake of the game now, or does this “remake” still end with the escape from Midgar? i.e. maybe the first 10% of the playtime on the original game.

Not saying this isn’t an accurate description of some gamers, we’re all different in our own way, but personally, I blame my “backlog” on having my Amex saved in Google and Steam and making poorly thought out decisions while stoned.

And Sony seems to be moving in the wrong direction, having just announced the imminent closing of the PS3, PS Vita, and PSP digital stores”

This really bums me out. I purchased a PSTV a couple years back. Its essentially PS Vita hardware the size of a pack of cards that you can hook into your TV and play with a PS4

This was my last Splinter article. The hypocrisy here is fucking astounding.

Exactly.  The CEO of the company my dad worked for used to skip work on Fridays, pay to go to one movie at the mall, and then just go from theater to theater watching other movies for free until he got bored.  The man collected classic cars as a hobby but he was too cheap to buy a second movie ticket.

I’ll go months without hate-watching and then I’ll come home from work pissy on a Friday night when Trump’s done something stupid, and I think to myself, I’m just going to watch Bill’s opening monologue.  I’m going to turn it off before the panel. But then I get sucked in and hate myself.

This comment takes an amazing left turn at the end.

I mean, 10 million people are playing ESO through Bethesda. It’s the second most popular MMO right now and it won a handful of awards for best MMO in 2017, and it’s been around 4 years, but that’s clearly just an “unestablished platform”

This isn’t a huge shocker.  I play Elder Scrolls Online - the current Bethesda/Zenimax MMO - and you can either purchase the game through Steam or through Bethesda.  People in my guilds who log in through Steam are constantly complaining about it when they can get on. Those of us who bought and log in through the

Too everyone in the grays telling me how stupid I am, I’m going to repeat again, I am not making this argument, I am just trying to answer a question about someone else’s comment. I’m not trying to make any point myself about Universal Basic Income, so kindly shut the fuck up.

I converted the closet in my extra bedroom to an indoor grow room for about 4 5-6 saplings, 3 full plants.  I had to restart my current grow cycle after I forgot to secure the closet door and my cat knocked it open while I was at work and pulled every single sapling out of the ground and chewed them up.  Fucking narc.

Forgive me for going part strawman here, but I’m trying to enunciate the argument he’s making more than make an argument of my own here.

In discussions about Universal Basic Income, opponents will often make the claim (here’s my strawman part, sorry) that if you pay someone money who doesn’t have a job, then they will
