Leonardo leans back in the folding chair, humming Hurt as he watches Raph recover from another fentanyl overdose.

Also not optimistic but since they’re cutting so much, my guess is that Fares Fares’s character is going to take over the role that S. had with the Seanchan in the books. (trying to be non spoilerly for people who haven’t read them)

As a book fan, my fingers are crossed that S2 is better than S1, but my expectations

It’s already been renewed for season 3 as well, before they even finished filming season 2. I was a bit shocked as well that they were so aggressive with that. I loved the books and read them multiple times, and I approached the first season with an open mind - knowing that they were going to severely cut and change

Supposedly Books 2 and 3 are being combined into one season. Since the seasons are only 8 episodes, that’s going to be quite a lot. I suppose it’s going to work one of two ways - either the Seanchan and TGH end fight occur at the midpoint, and then they move on to the Stone of Tear, or they’re rewriting things so that

So, we now have to believe that even with intergalactic communications and travel by lightspeed, the galaxy is such a big place, the other Jedi just didn’t hear about it, didn’t care, or helped in ways not felt on screen.”

The JJ Trilogy - movies 7 and 9 - establish that you can travel from point A to point B in the

Yeah, I went back and rewatched Rome this year. I’m not sure I can think of another series that had such a severe drop off in quality from season 1 to season 2.

Sweet. I’ve got a letter to the editor in one of those and lost my hard copy years ago.

I absolutely hate it. You have 4 spell slots instead of equipping a skill for an elemental school of magic. So forget having a wizard who can cast more than one element. The way they’ve changed the game, they want you to use a “scout” feature to see what enemies you’ll fight in the upcoming battle and then I guess

Sometimes I think I must be the only RPG player who still loves grinding, I hate the changes they made. First time I’ve ever requested a refund on Steam.

4 skill slots. So if I want to recruit a lizard guy or a hawkman besides Canopus, I need to use 1/4 of the slots on a mage or cleric, respectively, in a story

I remember getting an N64 because I’d had an NES and SNES before that and had no real interest in switching to Playstation. But I had loved Final Fantasy IV (SNES 2) and VI (SNES 3) and was on some sort of Square mailing list and was surprised to get a VHS tape advertising Final Fantasy VII. I watched that tape over

I’ll have to see how the changes to progression affect gameplay. One of the things I liked about Tactics Ogre better than FF Tactics was the class based leveling instead of the toon. I thought it was less grindy than FFT in that regard.

oh fuck you and your star. take it.

In Tactics Ogre your characters get three little heart icons. Each time they die and you fail to res them by the end of the battle, they lose one of those hearts. They are only permadead after all three hearts are gone, which would require the character to be dead and unres’d in three separate battles. A bit different

Exactly. I almost feel my blood pressure rising in Barnes and Noble when I walk by the Fantasy section and see an entire unit of shelving dedicated to Martin and his unfinished series of progressively deteriorating quality. Yes, let’s continue to reward Martin with the lionshare of the genre shelf space instead of

Yeah, but we hobbits get second breakfast.

Am I the only one referring to “The Northman” as “The True Blood Prequel” in my head?

Elder Scrolls VI: Portal to Azeroth

So many good memories from playing this game. Halo 3 came out at the end of my college undergrad, when I had both a plethora of free time and the youthful energy to play until 3 or 4 a.m. every night. Became “xbox live friends” with people from random matches and ended up spending months playing team games with the

I hadn’t thought about POGS in a long while. Points to you.
