It was more the “very limited amount of time” part that I thought might be subject to change because of the scenario with the daughter. The impression I had from M’Benga was that he could more or less store multiple people in the buffer until it became necessary to clear the memory. While the daughter is the one they

This article is linked in a 9/6/2023 post about the Lower Decks Season 4 premiere episode title making a reference to this Voyager episode. See that the original comments are all from 2021, so I feel obligated to a say, Dr. M’Benga has another asterisk for you.

Leonardo leans back in the folding chair, humming Hurt as he watches Raph recover from another fentanyl overdose.

Also not optimistic but since they’re cutting so much, my guess is that Fares Fares’s character is going to take over the role that S. had with the Seanchan in the books. (trying to be non spoilerly for people who haven’t read them)

As a book fan, my fingers are crossed that S2 is better than S1, but my expectations

It’s already been renewed for season 3 as well, before they even finished filming season 2. I was a bit shocked as well that they were so aggressive with that. I loved the books and read them multiple times, and I approached the first season with an open mind - knowing that they were going to severely cut and change

Supposedly Books 2 and 3 are being combined into one season. Since the seasons are only 8 episodes, that’s going to be quite a lot. I suppose it’s going to work one of two ways - either the Seanchan and TGH end fight occur at the midpoint, and then they move on to the Stone of Tear, or they’re rewriting things so that

So, we now have to believe that even with intergalactic communications and travel by lightspeed, the galaxy is such a big place, the other Jedi just didn’t hear about it, didn’t care, or helped in ways not felt on screen.”

The JJ Trilogy - movies 7 and 9 - establish that you can travel from point A to point B in the

Yeah, I went back and rewatched Rome this year. I’m not sure I can think of another series that had such a severe drop off in quality from season 1 to season 2.

As a 12 Monkeys fan, I nearly lost my shit the first time Todd Stashwick showed up on screen this season. Love him so much.

Sweet. I’ve got a letter to the editor in one of those and lost my hard copy years ago.

I absolutely hate it. You have 4 spell slots instead of equipping a skill for an elemental school of magic. So forget having a wizard who can cast more than one element. The way they’ve changed the game, they want you to use a “scout” feature to see what enemies you’ll fight in the upcoming battle and then I guess

Sometimes I think I must be the only RPG player who still loves grinding, I hate the changes they made. First time I’ve ever requested a refund on Steam.

4 skill slots. So if I want to recruit a lizard guy or a hawkman besides Canopus, I need to use 1/4 of the slots on a mage or cleric, respectively, in a story

I remember getting an N64 because I’d had an NES and SNES before that and had no real interest in switching to Playstation. But I had loved Final Fantasy IV (SNES 2) and VI (SNES 3) and was on some sort of Square mailing list and was surprised to get a VHS tape advertising Final Fantasy VII. I watched that tape over

I’ll have to see how the changes to progression affect gameplay. One of the things I liked about Tactics Ogre better than FF Tactics was the class based leveling instead of the toon. I thought it was less grindy than FFT in that regard.

Do we know which animated classic Cameron is ripping off this time? Is he doing Pocahontas again or will we get some American Tail or Lion King inspiration in this one?

God forbid someone see a movie before forming an opinion about it. Your assumptions are just as preposterous as the OP’s.

If he dares to express an opinion without seeing it, you’d just shit on him for that to.

My dad really, really wants me to take him to this for his birthday and I’m trying to mentally prepare myself. I was a kid when the original came out, so going to these with my dad has become a ritual of sorts, but oh my god, I am not looking forwarded to sitting through this. Thank god THC is legal in my state.

Enjoyed the craziness of the first season but the second fell apart for me.

I hope Travis Fimmel lands in another role that takes full advantage of his ability to do full on crazy face. His facial expressions and eyes are phenomenal for this sort of wackiness.

Can’t find a clip of the scene, but “Future Starts Slow” by The Kills in the season 1 finale of Altered Carbon.

At least one of the original expanded universe books dealt with a threat to the Galaxy that required the newly victorious rebels had to ally with what was left of the Empire to fight off. I’m not suggesting they do that book exactly because the sequel trilogy sort of preempts that, but I think this is an idea they
