Yesterday on twitter I saw a link to a Mother Jones article from over the summer which said that Donald Trump refused to allow (pay for) his campaign to run opposition research on him. Which ev.er.y campaign does. And they come up with ways to handle the results of that vetting so that they aren’t scrambling if that

I think he’s trying to. But I really don’t want to spend too much time trying to understand his thinking.

Jesus fucking Christ.

I took it as something like that.

To sidetrack just a little bit, has there been an article about Rush Limbaugh’s latest dumb comments on consent and rape?

Oh, they’d be comically awful, no doubt, but Christie’s routine at the RNC seemed like an audition for Attorney General.

I’m sure they’re not as oblivious as the Breitbart-ians who actually believe polls are saying Trump will win, but it’s probably a little column A, a little column B at this point.

I thought about that one, too. There’s also something Rumsfeldian about him, he’d be an equally awful SoD.

I just am really curious as to what Trump’s loudest continuing supporters have been promised in the alternate reality where he wins the election. My guess is Christie is hoping for Attorney General and Giuliani Secretary of State.

It’s one of those “THIS IS WHY WE CAN’T HAVE NICE THINGS” things. We want (and actually need) allies, but we turn on them so freaking quickly.

I’m sorry for misinterpreting that, and maybe I should have responded to someone else.

Clearly in the minority here, but I thought he was actually poking fun at himself a little bit.

I don’t remember the last time I heard his name and the story wasn’t about him or something he did, rather than him breaking a story.

Oh Jesus, some people are so fucking stupid.

If anything she said was so outrageous, someone who was in attendance at one of the speeches would have blabbed to a journalist (anonymously or otherwise) already.

I mentioned yesterday that my husband is a card-carrying Libertarian and supported Johnson in 2012, so I’ve been aware of him and the party platform for awhile. But Johnson is really being hurt by the attention and publicity the LP has been asking for. These series of blunders over the past month have really hurt the

My husband is a Libertarian, and voted for Johnson in 2012. Formerly a registered Republican who was amenable to the Libertarian platform once he finally admit to himself that the GOP would never ever support gay marriage.

No, those guys need to maintain their covers for Jesus. They’d go out of their way to appear that they absolutely revere their wives as the gifts from God that they are.

I’m not sure how sniffling would adjust a microphone, but, okay, Donald. I did see him finnick with the mic all evening. Maybe he wasn’t hearing himself correctly on the monitors? Or maybe he’s dealing with age-related hearing loss?

There also seems to be a clear need to compensate for something. I think the approval and affection of his parents might be high on that list. In that regards, I do feel sorry for him, but more sorry for all the people he’s used and abused instead of working out his issues in therapy.
