The average number of possessions per team per game is roughly 12. So, factoring in turnovers, our hypothetical super-kicker is probably worth about 21 points a game, conservatively, or 3 touchdowns per game. So he would absolutely be worth taking #1 overall, assuming there wasn’t a Manning level QB on the board.
