The Police is admittedly my favorite band, but I got exposed to an entire world through the concert movie “Urgh!  A Music War”.  I only rented it because The Police were in it.  But man!  XTC, The Dead Kennedy’s, Gang of Four, Oingo Boingo, Echo and The Bunnymen, The Cramps, OMD.... all on that record/movie.  It just

We’re going through a period of “Gen X Stuff Sucks”. I think it’s a reaction to the massive self-indulgence of Gen X stuff the last few years (a la Stranger Things type material).  These things go back and forth.

There never was a compelling reason why there were three of them, it just seemed like somebody thought three was a change from one. Three isn’t inherently bad like, say, 26 would be, but there needs to be a plan for how they will work.

let’s be honest, there are only 2 really good Star Wars movies.

It was the first time Hollywood had gone back to a long-assumed retired major property, and even though the new entry sucked, it also made bank.

I love Toy Story 2 as much as the next guy (and let's not forget The Iron Giant) but I’m going to give a shout out to South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut which was far, far better than it had any right to be. It would be high in my top ten of the year.

To be fair, that’s what I’d have done.

IS SOMEONE GETTING THE BEST

How is Seth Rogen not involved in this?

I was kinda surprised when he appear on Serial and confessed to all the crimes but the man’s got to work

Isn’t the time zero now, since everyone is apparently busy recording their podcast?

Gotta be the hamburger in “Better off Dead.”

That which is dead can never die.

It’s going to be difficult to associate J.J. Abrams with a movie that goes anywhere.

Mickey and Minnie were in plenty of cartoons pre-war, which I remember watching as a kid on the Disney Channel during the 80s. After the war the other Disney characters like Donald, Goofy, Chip and Dale received prominence while Mickey got pushed into brands and logo. The Goofy everyman skits they made during the 50s

It was a close one. At first Peacock was only able to get Parks, but right at the wire they secured Recreation.

There’s a lot of fan fic too.
