This is true. How many shows are there about struggling twenty somethings in the big city? CBS is kind of smart to just do procedurals that appeal to older, maybe more red state audiences because there’s a huge audience out there that’s being underserved

Not just write but have people read and discuss. Genre type shows tend to have a much more energized fan base and thus more likely to want to discuss the show. I don’t know how many fans of CSI would want to go online and discuss it. If they did, there would be more recaps of it.

I just mean there was a time when most message boards discussed the actual episode and talked about whether it was good or bad and why. Now it’s turned into endless discussions of fan theories, the chasing of any possible Easter egg in the show, and disappointment that their particular fan theory didn’t happen.

And if we did watch it, it would be ironically

At least they ended it. Unlike someone else…

In a way, yes, but it was still ultimately about who sat in the throne. The entire book was over just that conflict. The fact the show ends with a battle over the throne and not the white walkers felt right to me.

You haven’t read all the comments from people who think the show should have run forever and ever so they could get the perfect ending that they wanted it to be.

But things don’t get plastered everywhere if they don’t drive clicks. If nobody clicked on the SNL videos, recaps and stories, they wouldn’t be posted. As for the line about it not being good for years, people started saying that about the show since it’s second season.

It is nice to be able to watch a show that’s not ruined by endless amounts of online fan theory wankery

SNL is still popular and still has a huge presence in pop culture. The fact that there’s recaps shows that it at least drive clicks, something shown by the fact there’s dozens of rv shows that should be recapped but aren’t because the Powers That Be have deemed as not click worthy of bough to do recaps for

Don’t you lump us Gen-Xers with old people who watch old people shows! We’re not that old! We’re just middle age :(

Really looking forward to the The Return of Rosencrantz and Guildenstern

Can’t tell you how super excited I am for the Macbeth trilogy.

This comment didn’t age well :(

I personally would like to throw the name Internet Commentor into the mix since Internet Commentator has so often declared how much better the show would be if they were in charge

This show made me very glad I do not have children who are in High School and as such, I cannot wait to watch what I assume to be a very realistic and true to life depiction of Gen Z high school experience

Here I am now, entertain me” could work as a super hero catch phrase. “Rape Me,” not so much

Nothing says fun super hero movie like taking the inspiration for the super hero from a mentally unwell, heroin addicted rock star who killed himself by blowing his brains out with a rifle.

Severally disappointed they had Steve Martin and Martin Short together but not Selena Gomez. I want to believe they all hang out witch each other now, singing King Tut together while wearing fake arrows on their heads. Then, when they’re done, they’ll look through Instagram and watch moviesTik Tok together.

I thought the the whole response was summed up by the cast not wearing masks the entire episode but wearing them during the closing credits.
