I look forward to being able to watch this on Netflix after spending ten minutes trying to find it through their interface

I’m okay with it being smug since the movie will give us something to do when we’re sheltering place because of another Covid outbreak

“It’s time for the Family Feud!”

Agreed. The whole thing still pisses me off to the extent I have no desire to revisit any of this in any shape or form. I’m still gobsmacked by the sheer stupidity of what Bill did and still angry that the Republicans basically went on a years long witch hunt and got away with it. Some of them are even on the Supreme

I smell serious sitcom potential

Well, the Pumpkins supposedly have another new album coming out and will probably tour and if so, would definitely need an opening act....

“that’s what she said”

He just laid everyone off

Bet you those chili peppers could write better lyrics than the actual Chili Peppers

There was no way they were going to have a satisfying conclusion to that show, especially as GRRM never finished the books. The show was way too big and had to big of a devoted fan base to do anything that would have made everyone happy. No matter what they would have done, some part of the fan base would have been

Yeah, the show definitely ran out of steam the last few seasons and probably should have ended earlier. Still, those first few seasons were good stuff

I’m not sure about that. Like if you were Benioff or Weiss, would you go near that thing? Or GRRM? What about Kit or Emilie or any of the bigger stars? Would you want to spend your time having to respond ton fanboys still really angry about the whole thing?

I’m expecting the conference will be a huge disappointment because it will either be rushed towards at the end or will never happen as it will constantly postponed

BSG reboot is yet another thing that should have been awful and most probably would have been and yet it somehow was great. All credit goes to the show runner Ron Moore for making the show as good as it was

You know, I rewatched it after thinking it was kind of both fun and awful at the same time. My feelings the 2nd time is that it’s good but that it should have been a three hour movie, like those long Hollywood blockbusters starring Steve McQueen of yore. If the movie was allowed to be three hours, you get in all the

Maybe it’s because everybody hates the album?

also a lot darker if you consider that Holly Golightly is actually a high class prostitute

One of the show’s main metaphors was that High School was literally hell so once they left high school, they lost that central metaphor. College is the opposite of hell and while early twenty-something existence sort of hellish, not quite as fun as a metaphor. I get what they were trying to do in S4-S7, see the

I think part of the thing is that they weren’t sure what they’d be allowed to do and get away with and the more they realized what they could do, the more the show came into it’s own. This is true of both being able to be allowed to be about “nothing” but also in the edgier tone and language.

I grew up during Reagan too. That song brings out a very visceral reaction to it in a lot of people and the fact it could do so to us old fogies proves what a great song it is
