Ron & Leslie lost some of their edge as an odd couple the longer the show went on as their affection for each other overcame any sort political disagreements. We always knew Leslie would wind out and Ron would say something sweet by the end if the episode.

At the beginning, Jeff and Britta fit together as they were older, normal, and more worldly ones. They were the Den Father and Den Mother of the group. Even towards the end, after the writers did all sorts of bad things to Britta,, they still had that connection. In sum, Jeff and Annie were the odder couple.

I would watch the crap out of a show about Fleabag in Fleabottom

Winter is Too Busy Working on Prequels to Come

So much of that series comes from the silence, the music, and and the secluded, cold mountain setting. The American version had none of that. If they ever did an American version of the German Netflix show “Dark,” a show that reminds me a lot of Les Revenants, they’ll probably just skip all the atmosphere and you’ll

Kinda hate when famous bands refute all the mythology around something when they get older. Like how Mick Jagger says Exile was just some album they did in LA after a jaunt in the South of France or Eric Clapton says he wasn’t really hung up on Patti Harrison. Damnit. I want my rock and roll mythology and if the

It’s really not worth it unless you like watching two hours of people snipe at each other. It’s like the Marriage Story of music docs.

The Hell’s Angels had a lot of fun at the concert and it’s about time somebody shows them on a better light after the bad wrap they got for all the beatings and kniving

I think it resonated with a lot of people (like me) because it’s not so much about it being a vampire story but about the relationship between two very lonely children and loneliness in general. I think the problem with trying to revamp it (hey, it’s a pun!) is that a lot of that was conveyed by mood and I’m guessing

So is this the less gritty spinoff of Euphoria?

Always find it weird that a movie brings with it endless scenes of extremely well-earned tears is seen as both uplifting and a tradition. Why do that to yourself and yet I wind up watching it again and again and again

Jaws is a nothing movie without those simple little notes that play whenever there’s an attacj

What kills mere every-time in that episode is not when Buffy finds her mom or Anya’s speech but Buffy telling Dawn through the vantage point of behind a window so it all plays silently. Something about the silence of the scene juxtaposed with the anguish in their faces just guts me

Finally, my being burdened with the name Screech will finally pay off!

I don’t get why he just does it anyways. All if his stuff is taking other things and mixing them up with other things so why can’t he just do a Star Trek type movie that’s not but  everyone knows it is.

That episode is one of my faves and look forward to how they handle Kirk saving the day by using his Big Dick Energy on Kelinda

There are times when I’m quite happy when culture as a whole forgets Gen X exists and this is one of them

This Gen X’er looks at this reunion and the obvious middle age appearance and middle aged lives of the cast and would like to politely decline this bit of generational nostalgia

Both of the SF and Boston casts had MAGA chode Republicans on them (Rachel and Sean) so it might be fun just to watch the rest of the cast yell at them for the entire reunion

That type of skit, especially as it’s just the performer and Kate, is a huge ask of a host and I was surprised they gave it to Jonas. Who was not up to it.
