Watching the movies as an adult Woody comes off as a lot darker. He has serious issues with codependency and insecurity and very possibly Stockholm syndrome too.

The expression Jesse gives when Woody gives her his sheriff badge is stunning. She goes from confused to really, really sad to super happy and proud in a 10 second shot. I kind of believe that both Jessie and Bo should have gotten acting noms

I say this as someone who’s three years old is currently wearing a woody tshirt, watching clips on YouTube and has seen the all the movies god only knows how many times over the past year, they still hold up even after the twentieth or so viewing. The stories hold up so well and there’s little details that you notice…

Look at the difference in Bo- she glistens in it like a beautiful ceramic toy would. And then there’s the facial expressions and how they convey a multitude of expression in a just a few sections. There’s times I thought the toys were better actors than actual real live actors

In the other hand, she’ll only play two roles on this show so meh....

She’s been up for roles in Star Wars and one of Terminator movies but always lost out at the last minute. Which makes me think we’ll get an announcement in a day or so saying they hired someone else 

I think O’Hara will definitely win in part due to her long career and also because her performance was on a whole other level. It was like watching a great athlete playing at the top of their game. I loved (loved) Annie Murphy’s performance (if anything, for the “T-Rex” arms she gave Alexis) but it’s a tough category…

I love me some Annie Murphy and it would kind of suck for her if she’s the only actor on Schitt’s Creek who doesn’t win an Emmy but Betty Gilpin was soooo good

They’re going to have to cut at least a skit a night just so they can fit all the cast members into the opening credits

True, but there’s a difference between new cast members still fighting to get into a skit vs the more senior cast members who easily get multiple skits a night. I like the newer cast members (I love Heidi) and think it’s time for them to step up but it looks like they’re going to be lucky if they even get a skit per…

On the other hand, they’re also stuck with at least four more years of Maya Rudolph playing Kamala so at least there’s that

I think Schitt’s will take most of the comedy awards just because I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one who saw it as the only warm and fuzzy thing on TV to keep them sane during all this. I didn’t even think it was about client denialism as much as just making fun of Gore for caring so much about something. I figured Trey and Matt were too smart to deny climate change but they would so obviously be annoyed by Gore caring so much about it
