Lotta comments going either way. I was at Montreal last year to watch the WRXC. Super fun! Formula D had a few runs in-between races here and there. Was also super fun to watch, and they drivers and mechanics were super fun and excited to talk to people about anything. So were the Enduro racers.

The WRXC cars are SOO loud. I feel it’ll be a little sad when they swap to an electric setup. The Supercars pre-race warmup is one of the greatest things ever. Pops and bangs for days.

I prefer the original, but this MAT run is still looking damn sexy compared to most modern cars.

The pre-race burnout with the screaming engines is one of the best parts of the WRXC. My wife and I were at the Montreal race last year and the howl of those cars gets people pretty pumped. Question about the filter housing, would you get better flow with a filter setup that’s also open on the top? Or is it kind of irrelevant because the air flow is mostly from the front? Also, I think it’s a cool idea.

I’ve got studded Hakkas on my AMC Eagle and the wife has Nordmans on her Juke. Both are great. But the studde tires are amazing on ice. My car with no ABS almost stops like it’s dry pavement.
