I drove my CRXsi into the ground until I couldn’t afford to keep fixing it. Was pretty broke at the time.

This is the Gladiator I wanted.

I really only LIKE the gold suspension and the “bright”/“ridiculously bright” light switches. I think most of it is “neat”. But not necessarily good.

I’ve considered it. But I may 2 tone it. The current brown with a darker brown lower half. I really only had 3 self imposed rules with this car. It must remain 4WD, it must remain brown, it must use the original engine if possible.

Pretty sure the header tubing was 409... their welds “felt” like 304 maybe. Is a pretty common MIG wire. I welded it with 316 as we had a bunch of cutoff wire I could use. Not 100% anymore but I think tubing I used was 300 series. Maybe 304...maybe not. I’d need to find paperwork to confirm. I know the two elbows I

Sadly the pic just makes it look that that. It’s just solid brown. I may two tone it when I get it repainted. Definitely having the striping around the windows and such redone. I’ve been trying to get the machine shop at work to mill me some new speaker covers, grill, and door sill plates. But they’ve been too

I had to do a “bit” of work to make it fit. Had to chop off the end and add a bend and a kink. If I recall properly the header, their weld wire, my filler rod, and my added segments are all different grades of stainless. Was an interesting TIG weld puddle.

I like mine. Doing some upgrades

I had my block bored out, bought an Edelbrock head and am converting it into a fuel injection system. Should have more oomph. The 4WD mode was already awesome in the winter. Should be a damn near unstoppable tank now.

Mine drove great except for the weezy carb. Converting it to an FI setup. Hopefully done this summer.

We rented a Suzuki Jimny 4x4 in the middle of January last year. Little guy was unstoppable. Drove through several storms, hurricane level winds, deep snow, crazy ice, freezing rain/sleet and even dodged a sheep. We drove all over the island. If the road was open, even questionably, Jimnitron was ready to party. Held

AMC! The 4WD works awesome. And no nanny-ish traction/stability control or ABS to annoy you.

I’ve been in several Japanese towns and cities. In a lot of the older VERY tight and windy streets you’d be very lucky to be able to get up to 25mph without crashing into a wall, rolling it down a staircase, or flipping it off some cliff/retaining wall. Many Japanese streets were layed out in the BEFORE CHRIST years.

Neat!

My Dodge Rampage does everything I need it to do and is great on gas.

Not sure if trap, but checked. Not even close on me. 3“ difference. only have size 7's.

Also a Dodge Rampage...

Exactly. A big rig truck has so much torque you don’t need to add any throttle to engage first. As a young apprentice welder I could get a rig to get rolling from a stop with no throttle in 5th or 6th if I was real careful with the clutch. Often had to reposition trucks in the shop for the craneways and whatnot.

Great video. Subscribing to this channel.

It’s like a banana mine-field out here...” I have actual tears rolling at this point.
