You missed grit, the latest buzzword with questionable worth.
Fucking David Lane wrote about white genocide along with the 14 words. The fact that it’s becoming mainstream is more evidence of fascist hard right gaining power. ETA (I’m referencing the multitude of right wingers calling white genocide a threat and that tweet as evidence of leftist racial hatred)
I agree 100% I was so upset to see Depp instead of Farrell with the knowledge that there will be sequels.
This is just one of Donald Trump’s antics to keep us distracted from everything else that is happening. There is some bad stuff going down including an article about pay to play even before he becomes president. Instead of talking about this cluster fuck we are talking about Kanye:
This Trump photo op is a great way of distracting people from the actual horrors that are occuring.
I think that was more normal in England at the time which I think might be part of the criticism
My grandma and great aunt were sent to a boarding school at age 3 and 5 (they grew up in England) and even almost 85 years later, the trauma from that time is still evident.
Why Rita Ora? I know people talk shit about Tyra but she was a real supermodel when the word supermodel meant something. what does Rita Ora bring to the table? Why not have a model? I know that none of them ever really make it but still I like the illusion and in this day of horrible politics, I need illusion.
As far as the whole Constitutional Congress thing goes, first of all usually all these things are decided by Congress, not the states. Republicans are not close to two thirds representation in either the house or the Senate. Now if they wanted to get an amendment passed without using Congress, they do have to get…

I am not commenting whether his idea has merit or whether it is feasible or whether I agree with it --I am sharing his stated position. He thinks abortion should be legal, he doesn’t think that the government should pay for it and he thinks Roe V Wade is federal overreach.
I totally agree which is why I’m a democrat and not a liberatarian. They really believe in a decentralized government that is weak and if present, is mostly locally controlled. There is some ideological consistency there but I really differ on how I see the role of govt.
Agreed 100%. Gary Johnson really was a terrible choice. He’s just so weird and uniformed.
He doesn’t believe in Roe V Wade b/c he thinks it is a states rights issue and should not be imposed by the federal govt but he does believe abortion should be legal. I think that we need a federal mandate absolutely but that’s how he reconciles it.
I don’t know. Weld particularly just seems like the kind of old school republican that was marginalized by the tea party. He’s a Rockefeller republican. I’ve been making fun of libertarianism since before most commenters were born and I generally agree with you but the GOP is currently so batshit that I can see why…
