It looks so amateurish: sub-YouTube sizzle reel quality. No wonder they’re dumping it all at once.

Echo/Daredevil - the speed of hitting Echo’s leg (around 14/15 seconds in) made me think I was watching rehearsal - so many spots where the camera forgets to hide the lack of actual impact before the person being “hit” reacts...

Sony Pictures - There may only be one mainline Marvel Studios film coming this year (Deadpool 3), but Sony has three Spider-Man spinoffs coming in Madame Web, Kraven the Hunter, and Venom 3. That, plus the need for news on Beyond the Spider-Verse and a fourth Spider-Man, mean you should keep an eye out.

S2 was fantastic and they did a better job mixing the serialized plots and stand alone EPS.

Today marks the season two finale for Marvel’s What If...?. I haven’t watched it yet, but by several accounts, it sounds like this has been a pretty solid season with a standout episode that focuses on the Mohawk woman Kahhori.

Disney in general, they really could have used this advice before they bought Star Wars...

I don’t feel the need to rush the next live-action film. Good films are all about quality. We want great ideas, an excellent script, a talented director, and the right cast to work on it carefully.”

If Twisters isn’t a prequel, sequel, reboot, or in any way related to Twister, then the only reason to call it Twisters is a cynical attempt to cash in on nostalgia because that’s easier than making a good movie.

I just can’t imagine there’s much of an appetite for more Boba Fett.

During a recent interview with The Atlantic, Zack Snyder revealed he’s interested in exploring the origins of a “20-year old James Bond.”

This just in:   Actor would work, if asked!

It’d be cool to see, like, 20-year-old James Bond. The humble roots that he comes from. Whatever trauma of youth that makes you be able to be James Bond. There has to be something there.

I was thinking Godzilla Plus One, but that sounds like a ‘90s kaiju romantic comedy. Godzilla has to attend a black tie party on Monster Island, but he’s just broken up with his longtime partner, so he asks a random coworker to accompany him...

Okay, so what does the release slate for Disney/Star wars/marvel look like then? I like how this article says the slate has been confirmed then gives zero actual information about the dates EXCEPT to mention the one they know the least about.

That Zero Day sounds bonkers. I like the idea that to head a “commission to investigate cyber attacks” (why you’d need a commission for that instead of normal law enforcement is beyond me), you’d pull and 80 year old politician out of retirement.

Something that actually happened to me: I write professionally as a side gig, and I was tipped off by one of my readers that a semi-popular youtube channel had taken my work without my permission.

Dunning-Kruger

Payment of Amazon’s legal fees is the asshole tax this clown is being ordered to pay.

Bravery implies a degree of basic intelligence that is not in evidence.

Why are people so fucking stupid? I realize this is a question with almost infinite answers but this was irritating as hell to read about. I wish he ended up owing even more.
