It will be “headlining” the relaunch of Quibi.

Not going deeply into those ideas because this will be a huge spoiler, [but] it’s also very, very close to the meta ideas which are deeply embedded in the books, especially in book five. It’s very lore accurate.

Regardless of the competition, what Spiderverse accomplished here is pretty impressive: it’s very rare for a movie to reclaim the #1 spot after losing it, let along during the crowded summer season, and especially not after nearly a month of release.

That’s because it looks incredibly dumb. You know you’re in trouble if a guest appearance by Batman can’t even save you.

Dear movie companies, when you have a star that’s a terrible human being, no amount of “cover” or distractions from nostalgia can prevent the gen audience from reacting.

Got to love that Batman is bigger than the Flash on the poster.

For the life of me I don’t understand why the Agatha Harkness spin-off is being made. Marvel has so many great characters and Agatha Harkness gets a series????

I think we can all agree that Bad Bunny’s small role in the hit Bullet Train proved that he can carry an F-list Spider-Man villain movie that doesn’t feature Spider-Man.

Yeah, but when has that ever stopped Sony? Just release it two or three times. It’ll find its audience.

Yeah, this is a smart move on their part because even the Spider-Man fans were saying “Who?”

Sony has removed El Muerto—the Spider-Man-adjacent film about a Mexican wrestler who gains superpowers—from its release schedule entirely

Personally, I'd much rather he focus on Peacemaker first. I actually enjoyed that. Yet another Superman film? Meh.

gunn kind of verifying the exact thing i was worried about - he should be able to delegate someone a second season of peacemaker at the same time he’s making superman, or better yet have delegated superman as well.

It absolutely is not. It treats its source material and audience with disdain and disgust. Its so goddamn bad, and deserves all the hate it gets.

.....why on Earth is it getting a second season?

The show itself is actually fairly good.”

Iain De Caestecker made a valid point in an interview not too long ago why Fitz-Simmons should never return. He said the characters and their relationships have been through too many ringers that bringing them back will disrupt it once again, and be too much for the audience. I 95% agree with him.

Honestly, as visually appealing as Metropolis is, it’s story is not all that great. I’ve read a comic book adaptation and listened to a radio drama adaptation and, even with changes, the story is just not very compelling. It’s too bad because there’s no question that it’s visually compelling.

$220 million to make this turd, and all the fanboy buzz in the world is not going to alter the fact that more people just plain can’t afford to go to a theatre to watch it, and are already paying for a streaming service so....see you in a couple of months. With better cheaper popcorn.
