DC Movies: “Batgirl looks cheap — like an expensive CW show. Can it.”

This show looks amazing and has the potential to be iconic.

So it’ll be a mix of (meaning the worst of) Fox’s Gotham, DC’s Stargirl, and HBO’s Titans. Hard pass.

“We’ll see if this motley crew can do anything other than glower, make out, and pout at each other when Gotham Knights premieres on March 14.”

Ugh. 

I’ve yet to see Ridley Scott’s name on it, so that’s good enough for me :P

This is all the promotion it will recieve. It will be decently good something you want to see continue and it will be cancelled so they can milk whatever “Downton House of Stranger is the new Blinders” spin off they mke.

Why are they even bothering with a Captain Planet movie that doesn’t star Don Cheadle in the titular role?

So behind Waller .....is that a on set person ? because it does not look like a character that is part of the scene at all ,ot looks like a grip ?

This thing wrapped principal photography in July of 2021, and they released those silhouette promo pics shortly after (and that horrendously awkward on-set vlog Pitchford did where clearly no one wanted anything to do with him, and he very obviously annoyed the shit out of Kevin Hart).

I tried one or two, and I have a high tolerance for bad genre stuff but it would’ve been more surprising if it had been renewed (other than it must have been pretty cheap).  Reginald the Vampire was another Syfy bust.

The Beau Is Afraid poster looks like an image from some ‘90s point-and-click adventure game. 

Jackman is also friends with not just the Kushner’s, but Rupurt Fucking Murdoch. Says they don’t discuss politics together, but that’s the privilege of being a rich white man. He doesn’t have to care because he’s above all us.

Hollywood is full of cowards who condone bad behavior. They excuse and overlook bad actions in order to keep their job and pursue money and fame. Anyone who remains alive in Hollywood through a stretch of years managed to do so by being directly involved or directly condoning these bad actions. As much as Hugh Jackman…

Finally, Syfy has released a full trailer for The Ark, its new series about a doomed colony ship.

Maybe I’m just too old and cynical to understand this, but what’s the deal with trailers for movie trailers? It was groovy to see Bruce Campbell talk about the newest Evil Dead movie, but I just don’t get this whole preview of a trailer thing.

Rose McIver is a fucking treasure. I love her so much... But the UK version of Ghosts is 100 times better than the US one. And yes I know there are less episodes and shit. But still... so much better!

we’re not frazzled, just tired. why would a big budget movie making big bucks frazzle us?? that’s literally a wednesday around here.

“Plane” is surely the title they slapped on the film when they needed something for the books, and then never got around to replacing.
