It’s Rebels vs Empire, so I’ve seen it lots of times. Walk back the hyperbole.

The beauty of this show is there’s no way they’ll kill me.”

This just feels like the least necessary of the Star Wars Disney+ series so far.

It certainly feels different. Unfortunately, to me, it feels like “The CW got their hands on a Marvel property”.

Why?

That actually sounds a lot better to me than another Jurassic World entry...

I always thought the most interesting things about the Pirates movies were the villians. Depp’s drunk guy schtick got old for me by the second movie.

a ferocious, badass car thief who acts purely on instinct – you couldn’t stop her any more than a manhole could stop a volcano. Coming from a community that oppressed her into silence, Quiet’s wish is to find her place in this dark, chaotic world. But when she becomes clouded by her need for revenge, Quiet forms an

If it had low enough viewing figures for The CW to cancel it, probably not.

Is ‘contrarian’ the official term for someone who didn’t like Avatar? I mean, some of us thought the acting was pretty wooden and the plot was generic. James Cameron deserves all the credit he gets for pioneering new technologies and bringing such a singular vision to life, and with all his filmmaking experience, it

a summer blockbuster

Right? I can’t think of a single quote from the movie. All I remember was that they called the stuff “Unobtanium” and that’s because I rolled my eyes as soon as they said it.

The lack of Avatar memes is perhaps the most damning indictment of the film.

The lights dimmed and the trailers started before our showing of Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness. The Fox logo appeared and first hint of electric blue and everyone knew what this was. A lone voice rose above the low collective groans, “Nobody asked for this!”

I was completely underwhelmed by this during my IMAX showing of Dr Strange 2. Then again, I didn’t think the first one was all that interesting beyond the visual spectacle.

Is this film really “long awaited” though? I mean we have hearing about a sequel since the first was still in theaters. And yeah, it is impossible to overstate how financially successful the film was. LOTS of people saw it, many of them saw it multiple times. And there was a huge amount of hype for it in the couple

I guess I missed the Avatar excitement.  Yes, great animation, groundbreaking.  But, story?? c+  White Man saves natives rehash.

That was my thought seeing it before Dr Strange; just, “Wow, looks like more of the exact same thing so why did this take an eternity?”

Ooof that’s an awful lot of ‘nothing new’ for how long it took. I wasn’t expecting an amazing movie but I was at least hoping for something innovative. That’s a big load of ‘meh’.

Sorry, but MAN did this look boring af at the theater. There was even a laugh or tow at mine. I don’t think this will be the blockbuster they think it will...
