Moon Knight the show ended up falling flat at the end. But unless Isaac is asking a fortune, or not willing, Marvel would be a fool not to snap him up for more be it movies, ensemble series, or another season (hopefully with better plotting). Calamawy too for that matter.

Designing a show around cliffhangers is probably not the best idea.

Also, while I liked the show overall, its editing was just.. off. Like, I’m trying to remember exactly what happened in the Pyramid.

So, they let Ammit out.. then Layla lets Konshu out. Okay.

Then Konshu and Ammit fight.. then Konshu feels Mark and..

Year 2 is a direct sequel of 2009's Year One starring Jack Black and Michael Cera right?

No, Sam Raimi, you don’t get to do Spiderman 4 because Tobey is almost old enough to play Uncle Ben and emo-bully-spider-macquire is one of the most memed things ever. You’re done. Move on.

Gee, if only there were some other explaination, some big event that happened in between, which slowed production on a bunch of things.

Just let the franchise die.

Why does Netflix keep canceling shows I have never heard of?????

Why? Two parts=Two admissions sold per audience member=More money. I’m just surprised they didn’t go for trilogy or ‘verse.

JJ Abrams brainstorming his next movie: “Hot Wheels are cars. Cars have headlights. Headlights create lens flares.”

Meh. It is perfectly cromulent. It is taking place before the games (in its own timeline apparently) and is leading up to finding the Halo.

Eh, I’d lean no.  Bad acting, wonky CGI, and a story that seems not very good.  Now, admittedly I only watched the first two episodes but in an era when there is just so much good television I generally pull the ripcord early.

While I agree with you, there are FAR bigger problems with this TV show, to say nothing of it’s failure as an adaptation.

I don’t understand this complaint because it’s literally set after the breaking of our world in the future. Of course this medieval world is more diverse, because it’s a cultural reset after a disaster in our future.

Same. I’ve been reading io9 almost since the beginning and can’t remember any writer who appears to be as goddamn miserable as Linda. Her commentary is utterly fucking joyless.

I’ve starred every single comment, but even that is not enough to pile onto one of the most disappointing articles I have ever read on this site (and I go waaaaay back). How on earth / Midgard did this utter tripe pass editorial approval? Maybe next time get an MCU fan to write this review, not a world weary hater. 0

...It’s like reading a review of a steakhouse written by a vegan.

Yikes. This is less of a breakdown and more like a lot of gripes. The CGI complaints for example are kinda unecessary. It’s the first teaser and while the movie comes out in July, that’s still a lot of room for tweaks and improvements.

Most CGI looks weird when paused too, this is like complaining about weird

Thank you for your attempt to kill joy on this Monday.

and we didn’t ask for it.

So Hot Take: I am actually glad they did Fat Thor, it is actually a fairly well done handling of PTSD and depression and how people tend to deal with those who suffer from it, i.e. not well) CinemaWins actually does a great breakdown of it in his video on Endgame. I’m hopeful this film follows through on it.
