Alice is a great character. I loved how she went on vacation with the Bradys but still had to work. Sure, she got an all expenses paid trip to the Grand Canyon, got to wear unflattering dungarees and ride on a burro, but she still had to make everybody’s meals.

Per Seth Rudetsky, Geri Reischl loves that one if her most enduring credits is as "Fake Jan."

Yes! It's impossible for me to mention pork chops without adding a slurring "and appleshaush." This is met with a look of confusion by everyone else in my household. My 60 year old husband missed the Brady Bunch phenomenon completely and our 12 year old daughter as only seen one or two episodes. So there I am, making

This was a staple of after school tv for my entire elementary and middle school years. I know every episode intimately, and thrilled to the Brady house renovation show. I couldn’t believe they could find all those odds and ends, especially the giraffe for the girl’s room!

I have four words for you people:

Isn't it great? I hadn't watched it in a while so it was fun to revisit it now. I'd forgotten Miranda was the narrator.

Its so frustrating, isn’t it? So many reasons why producers do this. I think vocal range is a big issue when the stars are doing their own singing. Also sometimes the producers etc wanted to market a new song, or they change the story around so that a bigger name gets a special song. I hate it - most of the time.

Agreed! I was so happy to see “One Man, Two Guvnors" online! It was a delight!

The words are so much more relatable, especially for a kid, than “get good grades so you can get into a good college,” or some variation thereof. This is confusing to young people on so many levels, what is a “good” college, what does it mean if I do or don’t get into one, if I do does that mean I don’t have to do

I share your concerns, but I am confident it will be filmed well, with multiple cameras. I like a good filmed stage production better than a lot of movie adaptations of shows. Give me the recording of George Hearn and Angela Lansbury in "Sweeney Todd" over the film version with Johnny Drop any day!

Thank you, Barney. We persnickety theatre geeks must stick together! :)

Easier to find than I’d remembered, enjoy!

I embrace my dweebness on this matter - just as the dear departed Little Richard sang, “The Girl Can’t Help It!”

I’m saying that different things do not always share the same designation.

See if you can find the bootleg of Ramos in the short musical Miranda penned based on a "This American Life" story. Grainy but well worth the squinting!

Ya beat me to it. My favorite pie in the face, by far!

100% agreed on the desperate need for on "In the Heights" movie! I think it will adapt so well to film - I'm really looking forward to it.

Because using the correct terminology is...somehow snobby? Interesting. I don’t guess I’ll be going to a football game anytime soon because of social distancing, but when I do, I’ll call it “soccer” and see what happens...

When musicals are adapted to films, they often have very different casts, arrangements, and even songs. The original cast recording of, say, “The Sound of Music” is very different than the movie soundtrack. Also, there are different cast recordings from different productions, so one can talk about, say, the OCR of
