I just get the feeling he’s becoming intimately aware of how amazing his wife/their real relationship was and how he’s probably never gunna get that again. This screams classic “I’m totally fine. Look how great my life is. Honest!!!” behaviour to me :(

Granted I usually live under a rock and am actively trying to avoid a lot of the election coverage (b/c it’s more a circus than honest journalism), but these alleged “feminists” saying we need to elect Hillary b/c she’s a woman - I could swear this is mostly a strawwoman cooked up by Bernie and the RNC or trolls just

If you give a shit about keeping religoin out of politics or a woman’s right to choose, then you vote for the Democrat. ANY Republican getting SCOTUS picks isn’t an option. It’s time to grow the fuck up.

I love Chrissy Teigen so much.

I simply LOVE beer and was drinking about the same, but I have recently cut way back because I was concerned about my long term health. I’m in really good shape for 35, but is my liver? What’s the long term trajectory on someone who is 110 lbs and drinks 5 beers in a day? A friend of my husband died last year from an

If your doctor thinks you have a problem due to specific personal indicators (BP, liver/kidney function) of ill health, definitely listen to him/her. If your doctor says that you exceed the recommended amount of alcohol for your sex/age, but there are no accompanying present negative indicators, then be more inclined

I needed this article so much right now, thank you so much for putting this viewpoint out there. I have been struggling the last few months with finally cutting alcohol and the demons that follow it down to a minimum in my life. I have absolutely no one to talk to about this so sorry I’m about to spill my guts. I had

I am the same way. I think the ‘problem’ arose when I stopped doing those things. I took a week without drinking my normal, casual amount and it was fucking DIFFICULT. I didn’t realize how much I depended on those drinks.

If you can go without them, then there’s really no problem. If you find that you can’t, then there

I think it’s a great question—what makes a social drinker and what makes an alcoholic? I’ve had about 3-4 drinks a day for many years, one at lunch, one at dinner and one or two in the evening before bed. I never get drunk, I never black out, I’m never hung over. I also don’t drink on vacation or business trips. I’m

In alcohol’s defense, I’ve done some pretty stupid shit while completely sober, too.

My dumbest cat would be a better president than Trump, and she eats plastic.

After the NYC primary:

In my lifetime women couldn’t get a fucking loan without a man’s signature.

I get people not liking Clinton but do you really think you can even put her platform and that of Trump on the same spectrum? I fall way to the left of her but will gladly vote for her in the general — I feel like “lesser of two evils” is really selling short how absolutely terrifying Donald Trump’s platform really is.

Despite being more to left than Clinton, I’ll vote for her. Trump is definitely the greater of the evils in this case.

I’m genuinely sad my feminist mom didn’t get to live to see this.

I’ve gotta say, as a woman, I’m kind of having a moment right now. My daughter will grow up in a different world than I did and it thrills me.

I will be happy to hold my nose and vote for this lesser evil. (And I don’t mean that sarcastically. First major female presidential nominee is a pretty dece consolation prize.)

No matter how you feel about her, 100 years ago American women didn’t even have the right to vote, so this is pretty cool.

I will say, I know a lot of people who had never heard of ALS before the Ice Bucket Challenge. My uncle has it and I’ve had to explain what it is for a long time and suddenly people were talking about this actually-pretty-unknown disease. And people I know with ALS were able to get significant help because of the
