Do yourself a favor, watch the video without audio.
It’s definitely the sound track to her O Face.
Oh my gosh, we’ve achieved peak whiteness.
I liked them. They were somewhat bland (though not anymore than 90% of american cars of the time), but they are very comfortable and are a good relaxing freeway cruiser that with the v8 was reasonably powerful. I also think they have aged better than a lot of cars. They look dated, but not in a bad way necessarily.
We had a silly transmission issue on the first dyno run and while it got fixed, it meant we were behind on the program. Instead of making the team work 18 hour days, we decided to give this one a miss and go back in September.
Automatics are Bud Light. It’s technically beer, but its sole purpose is to be accessible to people who don’t like beer.
I have said it before and I’ll say it again. Anyone who posts an automatic car as a manual in an online ad should be sentenced to death.
There is no greater disappointment than finding the perfect vehicle. Everything is exactly how you want it to be and then the interior shot comes and its a fucking automatic. The…
Nah. You buy it because it looks better. The S-Class is a great example. You’re basically paying through the nose for a sportier looking front/rear clip and little else, but it looks way better and has no impact on performance (or ride quality). Go drive an S560 with the sport package and the biggest wheels available…
I emailed the Gizmodo Media Group (of which Jalopnik is a member) a while ago in a very polite and thought-out message asking if I could volunteer as a proofreader for Jalopnik because the constant typos were pissing me off so much... no response ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
There used to be enough money in journalism that organizations had full time copy editors. That’s mostly gone with so much free content online. And the payment to journalists for copy has plummeted as well.
Zach arrived at their residence with a female co-worker and that [his wife] “refused to have the unknown female, who Zach kept referring to as ‘baby,’ spend the night at their residence.”
However, it seems unlikely that a program as massive as Ohio State would have had no knowledge of this police report before they hired him in 2012 (the simplest of background checks reveals that he was at least arrested for aggravated battery)
This is a gorgeous design IMO, but the rims in this review are boring and don’t compliment the car at all. I like these.
We bought my wife’s 2007 Passat wagon CPO so didn’t come with the umbrella, but it definitely had the spot for it, which we used from time to time.
I used to do this with a motoGP game trying to beat times. You know the exact moment you did not hit a turn the right way after doing a track 20+ times. It’s crazy how such a small thing is monumental in lap time.
Oh for sure, this wouldn’t be 1/10th as cool if it had been done by a robot, even if it was sub-5. I get scared just watching it.
I don’t mind thin steering wheels, but thicker ones are better, IMO. My wife’s steering wheel is so much more comfortable than say my Miata’s was. It also gives you more to grip when going through turns so all around better. Complaining about no center arm rest in a sports car is like saying you are upset your ariel…
