Don’t feel bad about feeling bad. I’ve been crying off and on in a way I haven’t cried over ANY election. I didn’t cry over Bush 2.0. I didn’t cry when McCain introduced Sarah Palin. I didn’t cry when it looked like Romney might actually win.

At some point, and two and a half centuries seems like a great point to me, you have to admit that America is a country built by white assholes for white assholes and that’s not going to change.

Sure a diverse coalition would have worked and any number of us are pissed at our friends and relatives and whoever else for not voting...but we’re always pissed at people for not voting. This isn’t new either.
