You missed the comma between 'enjoy' & 'Buffalo' presumably. Nobody enjoys Buffalo.

Yes, Denver is a good call & they won last year practically in spite of their Qb play. Absolutely.

Agreed & Aaron Boone is likely second. Unfortunately that was ESPN's last broadcast of the 2016 postseason so we'll get plenty of Joe Buck & friends in addition to the primary TBS crew who didn't seem to think the complete absence of Zach Britton on Tuesday night was all that noteworthy.

Lucky bastard.

I mean, you're not wrong. Sam Bradford is the QB. That's tough to puff up.

Yeah, I was going to say. Is 10.5 the O/U on routes that ROb Gronkowski runs on Sunday?

I understand your frustration but do you really wanna see what's behind Door # 2?

Agreed. We all saw the horde of Red Sox fans that cropped up like gremlins post-2004 nationwide. The Cubs winning could be worse possibly. Therefore, go Giants!

About to get underway in Arlington with a 1-0 series lead. Devon Travis a late scratch due to knee irritation though which is less than ideal.

Isn't Pederson from the 'Andy Reid coaching tree' (is that a thing?) too?

This 2016 SF season sort of has the feel of maybe a 'one and done' type deal for Kelly. Colin Kaepernick's obviously not a perfect player, but - with the possible exception of Mike Vick before he got hurt - Kaepernick would seem to be the closest approximation to the types of QBs that Kelly had at Oregon that he's

Dug it when I was a kid when this was a premium cable staple in the late 1980s & still do. One of my favorite movies ever.

They're almost a throwback to the NFL before the extremely offense-friendly rule shifts in recent years & it would be cool to see a team make some postseason noise based on that side of the ball in this era. Personally speaking, the fact that Adrian Peterson isn't going to be part of the mix for an extended amount of

Baseball is my favorite too (the last three primetime games - my gawd) but football is just so damn ubiquitous that it's hard to avoid it. The NFL is kind of gross when you look under the hood even a little bit in a lot of ways though, no doubt.

Most definitely! These start times are dreadful but let's see what happens today. At least Game Three from Toronto is a 7:30-ish EST start on Sunday night.

Christ, Scott Van Pelt is nearly completely insufferable to me. He brings to mind the fringy acquaintance in every clique ever who doesn't quite fit in & tries way too hard to compensate. For somebody who tries to project his self awareness he comes off as extremely thin-skinned too which is an odd combination.

The third section of Street Hassle is provably my favorite. The song itself might be the most innovative in Lou Reed's (somewhat uneven) solo career and it is terrific, no doubt.

Session Man by The Kinks off of Face to Face is supposedly at least partially about him. He had a number of noteworthy contributions. That's him memorably thumping the piano on Sunny Afternoon, for instance.

Agree to disagree, but we're probably just not simpatico on what constitutes 'sticking to the genre'. I think the blues are heavily palpable throughout the great majority of their output myself & the band's love of the classic form of the genre is evident almost always.
