The Robert Johnson song? Yeah, I think that fits.

Total badass. Basically the adolescent equivalent of leaving Leaves of Grass out in the master bathroom.

That had a video actually. Spiral fired the rest of the band & replaced them with Veruca Salt.

You should send Liz Phair a thank you note then. ;)

Oh yeah! Hadn't thought of that in years, probably.

I think it's a lesser work than Exile in Guyville but Whip Smart is a terrific LP nonetheless. I particularly liked Nashville.

I remember Bob Costas asking her about that song on what must have been his late night show about 12 years ago or so. It was kinda bizarre.

I had that RS cover taped to my bedroom wall when I was a teenager. Scandalous!

It's not really that bad of a word when you think about it though.

Washington looked scary good. That somewhat reminded me of those Steve Emtman/Dana Hall/Chico Fraley Husky teams from when I was a kid (& they do have a new Chico to boot!).

No.

Toronto fan? I knew I liked you. ;)

Bell's Two Hearted is something of a beer blind spot for me. It's perfectly fine but I've never thought it remotely approached its reputation.

I recently purchased a sixer of their Pumpkin Down although it's unfortunately no more after that epic Jays victory last night. ha. It has a scotch ale backbone with just the right note of pumpkin/spices and I was very impressed (which seems to be par for the course with just about everything they put out). Probably

Oh gawd, yes.

Hey, my list ended with a track toward the middle of Odelay too.

Jenny!

Kim destroys all on Kissability (all of her tracks on Daydream Nation really).

Time Tough is great. Toots and the Maytals might be my favorite reggae band/performer.

He blames himself. (For what he can't ignore)
