Most certainly not. Terrific LP though (REM's last really good one imo).

First time ever Pavement has been lumped in with those names, very probably.

Yup, you're familiar with both programs. That's pretty much my takeaway as well (& I watched most of the first season or two of New Girl).

Yeah, doubt we'll have to wait 20 years on that one.

Is it an image of Liv Tyler?

Yeah, I see your point & I would say that 1996 doesn't fare well when contrasted with either 1994 or 1995 off the top of my head. I have a feeling this could be a recurring theme with subsequent years too.

Some other goodies (exelien nailed a lot of other biggies):

Yes - absolutely dreadful middle of the road, well, shit.

1997 here. I feel like we're practically middle aged in this thread, ha.

Sounds familiar..

Don't you wanna know how they got in there?

He's got a way with young people.

I feel like they didn't capture the essence of Larry from Monk's, but that's a minor gripe.

Great show. I actually discovered Seinfeld when jumping on regularly for Cheers' last season when I was a kid.

Ahh, why no T-Bone?

No, Neil Watkins from Accounting is T-Bone!

I'm a pretty enormous fan of the show (& an AV Club commenter - shocking, I know!). I agree that this did capture a lot of the features/ticks of later-period Seinfeld. Wasn't expecting that at all when I started reading to say the least.

I'm pretty sure we had a Q-Bert board game when I was a small child. I'm near entirely sure it sucked.

Jesus, that little nugget the Dr. shared is pretty off putting to say the least. Whatever happened to that firm yet comforting bedside manner?

Try me! I would love it!
