Which one?
Me too. Probably middle of the night on one of the (almost certainly non-HBO) premium cable stations in, like, 2003.
I almost felt like it was too short, ha.
That's Episode Four! aaaggggggghhhh
Oh no, that happened for sure.
I'd put it third (Exile & Let it Bleed would be 1 & 1a - depending on the day), but I could see it. The track sequencing is near perfect on vinyl too.
It seems she is the Roland Przbylewski of your household.
I don't know. I dig more than a little of her stuff and, as stated below, Simpsons.
Fantastic LP, that.
I'm waiting for the day.
Oh yeah, 'pretty dynamic' is an understatement. He's practically the archetype.
Death At One's Elbow would be the weakest track here by far to me, agreed. I quite like the other two; Paint a Vulgar Picture primarily for much of the wordplay & Death of a Disco Dancer mainly for the finish.
That is a phenomenal run & you can tack Born in the USA on there as well.
Me too but we can't dismiss Bryce Harper just because Mike Trout exists.
Hear Neil Tennant get wic-ked!
Great lyric. Great song.
That's right. My goodness, there was a whole scene of English bands at the time (none as enduring or as good as the Stones obviously) that were cut from this cloth.
Gram? Weren't a significant number of Parsons' songs covers? Not exactly unbelievable or anything given his love of traditional country but I'm not sure I'd cite him alongside Warren Zevon as far as songwriting goes (& I'm a big, big fan). If anything, he's almost a tale of squandered potential.
I lurv how it slides into I Just Want To See His Face which sounds as if it's coming through a freaking hole in the ceiling.
