Obviously the writing on Seinfeld was top notch (& revelatory compared to just about all other network shows ever) to say the least, but Jerry Seinfeld & Larry David were so, so fortunate with the fortuitous casting of the other three leads. Pretty much the equivalent of three home runs in a row.
