I think Wednesday’s best friend relationship with Enid is a better core for the show to focus on than her flirtations with the boys. Also her relationship with Thing is surprisingly effective. Her crying when she thought Thing was going to die might have been the most emotional scene from s1!

Padma is one of the great charismatic and empathetic reality show hosts to me, up there with Tim Gunn and I’m drawing a blank on other ones who don’t suck/ aren’t assholes

I also love this show! Poorna Jagganathan is so great as Nalini, but so is Maitreyi Ramakrishnan as Devi. The rest of the cast ... is adequate.

Since the CW doesn’t even seem to want to do scripted shows any more, the future of DC TV definitely seems murky. Maybe HBO Max might want to get back into that but it does not seem so

It made sense that the love interests on Wednesday would be interested in her for reasons of either romance or manipulation. But not that she would be interested in them. I agree with Jenna Ortega I think this is the way for the show to go

I guess you have to respect the financial commitment to it, which is pretty insane

The shot of the two trees of Valinor in season 1 was kind of mind-blowing and emotional for me

I enjoyed the first season of Rings of Power reasonably well, but I don’t know that there is anything about the second season that I’m really looking forward to. Maybe Galadriel? But unclear to me what her storyline is now since canonically she retreats to Lothlorien and cuts it off from the world pretty much

Jon Cryer was a great Lex Luthor on the CW Supergirl. Michael Cuddlitz an equally unconventional choice for the role in a completely different role, but also a terrific actor, so interested to see what he does with it

I think so too, about the Valhalla reveal meaning we will probably see Jane again

Kaley Cuoco to my surprise is my favorite Harley Quinn

I didn’t think Love & Thunder was that bad but it did kind of squander the super-cool idea of Jane as Mighty Thor and was not as funny or well balanced as Ragnorak

Drew Barrymore would have been better off being parented by her Charlie’s Angels co-stars

And Miranda had a boyfriend the first season who was best friends with Carrie right. What was his name? Skippy? I guess he was less than beloved by fans

I guess technically Robert Englund is a graduate of the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts, which I did not know, but not the one in London. Michigan’s Oakland University, which he attended, at the time had a program that was considered a branch of RADA.

The Rose Red miniseries deserves consideration because it is a mess, but I kind of enjoy it partly because the fantastic Melanie Lynskey is ideally cast as the stand in for Eleanor from Haunting of Hill House (which it is a ripoff/homage to)

Deep Blue Sea is the 2nd greatest killer shark movie ever made

The 2nd Hocus Pocus was a huge streaming hit, somewhat to my surprise although I enjoyed it, so there definitely seems to be popular demand for another one

I actually liked Hocus Pocus 2 more than the first, which I missed when I was younger so I don’t have any sentimental attachment too. I wonder if the 3rd one will be without the 3 main stars, whose stories seemed to wrap in the sequel. Probably they will find a way to bring them back I guess, but trying to make them

Barbara Crampton in an HP Lovecraft adaptation is a good start for Suitable Flesh
