I really enjoyed the Rose Red miniseries, though objectively it is a mess, but likewise the haunted house subgenre is a favorite of mine

Brooke Adams, an underrated “Scream Queen,” with Dead Zone, Invasion of the Body Snatchers, and Shock Waves (the best Nazi zombie movie)
Ha, good luck to her to try to be the reasonable Republican candidate for president. Something there is no apparent desire for among their voters, nor is it even possible given the party’s positions on issues. Her time would be better spent watching reality TV or youtube videos
Possibly he should just stick to saying words that Quinta Brunson writes for him
Hey I could have argued for including the Rose Red miniseries with Melanie Lynskey!
A movie adaptation of Twelfth Night with Elliot Page would be really good, if complicated
Lili Reinhart will miss Riverdale like Elizabeth Shue in Hamlet 2, who says she misses acting because “I had so much fun making out with all those cute actors”
So I guess Michael Keaton is having more fun on Beetlejuice 2 than he did on The Flash. I can’t really hold that against him.
I would guess the Yellowjackets bonus episode features the missing cameo by Jason Ritter & perhaps deals with the backstory of the house in the woods & its owner? That is a pretty big missing story piece
The Dead Zone is one of David Cronenberg’s best movies, perhaps the greatest ever horror director (though Carpenter is my favorite, wish he had adapted more King stuff)
The miniseries of The Stand is iconic, maybe better than the book because it is less bloated. Gary Sinise and Molly Ringwald both really good
Just because Wesley was an annoying character doesn’t mean Wil Wheaton isn’t talented

I will say I am a little lost with some of the subplots since it has been 17 months since the s3 finale aired. They had Nancy recap her & Ace’s love curse, but I would not have minded a refresher on what exactly George’s plan is balancing law studies & the restaurant and what Bess’s plan is with the historical…
Him?
I think it makes sense for the CW Nancy Drew to take the supernatural cues from the stories that had rational explanations & go all out with ghosts and curses and such, it is part of the fun seeing the characters adjust to this & accept it.
This show being in its fourth season does somewhat highlight how the pandemic broke time
King tends to use the Maine settings really well, which makes the occasional books and movies set elsewhere like Children of the Corn or of course The Shining seem oddly jarring
It is a little late to not trust her NOW
I guess Al Pacino’s old guy sperm are more determined than most
