You and me both. Mr. M loves it and insisted I watch it. Theoretically, it is right up my alley but I just couldn’t connect with the material. I watched most of season 1 until I realized I didn’t give a flying fig about any of the characters.

It really hits it’s stride in the second season.

I still like “Abramsverse” - he took the paychecks for Into Darkness, so he can take the credit and the blame. I’ll always think of it as Faux Trek in my mind.
