Okay so I just started watching Penny Dreadful. I love Eva Green and Timothy Dalton and I’m a fan of gothic horror in general. That said the show is REALLY not clicking with me. It’s just dreadfully, well, boring I guess. Am I missing something? Does it get better? It seems like something that I should really like but…

It's the old Boba Fett effect. She's barely in the movie but looks awesome so viewers build up this mythos about the character (even if it is Wonder Woman, who is well established.)
