Ohio is ok, as long as you’re outside of the CCC metro areas and don’t talk to the rednecks, oddly enough outside of those metro areas. I haven’t lived there in over 20 years, but the long running joke growing up was that at least we don’t live in KY or WV.

hehe, “joints” from Adam Sandler.

Best one and a half Superman films. (I’m yet to see the Donner cut of Superman II.)

I just want to say that Mark Hamill’s laugh, regardless of character, because he does -kinda- change it up, is classic. That he seems to love his voice work is evidence that there are second careers in Hollywood. Especially since he seems to be all over the place. High demand is not a bad thing.

you don’t have anything like Alice in Superjail or the hand banana episode of ATHF”

Futurama wasn’t nearly as afraid to be earnest and vulnerable compared to R&M’s dependence on cynicism, sarcasm and a faux-nihilistic philosophy.”

I’m yet to get into Tuca and Bertie, but good on you for discovering China, Illinois and Metalocalypse. Unfortunately, I tried rewatching both over the last year and they just don’t work for me anymore. Same with Super Jail, and even ATHF to a certain extent. I know my sense of humor has evolved a -lot- over the last

I’m kinda surprised that Alien Nation hasn’t been rebooted, at least by like FX or FXX. I was a kid when it aired, and would occasionally watch it with my dad (we were both suckers for sci-fi shows...ST:TNG was required family viewing) and recall it being not only a good premise, but somewhat decent plotting as well.

Alien3 is actually good” is the pop culture argument hill I will die on”

I like all the Alien films for different reasons, and while the original is, like Phipps says, is the best, I’ve always been a big fan of Alien3. It seemed like a throwback to the 1930's monster movies, where the gruesomeness was seen but you didn’t see the actual monster until halfway into the film. IIRC Fincher

I’ve been a chef for over 20 years, and I am still amazed that I have never been sued/fired for sexual harassment. Probably because whenever I’m in a new location I get to know my staff first before I bring out the real sarcasm.

SE DC was pretty rough as was NE DC.”

I thought we agreed to never mentioning her?

You can’t make this shit up.

John Mahoney

I’m a professional chef, and I find it amazing how many times I’ve purchased The Silver Spoon or Julia and Jacques. All because my then GF would “borrow” it and then I would never see it again. Biggest loss was The French Laundry cookbook. It was more a resource than anything, but that $120 is never coming back.

It can be two things. Little bit of column A, little bit of column B.

I will defend Excalibur to my dying day. Aside from how many good actors were in it, it’s just plain great. (six year old Rogue is going crazy).

Dane Cook is busy doing HS graduations. Priorities.

I love that I’m an old, and have no idea what TK means.
