Cannot agree with this enough. GB&U is really a great movie all the way through. It highlights some of the most keynote practices in movie-making that just don’t seem to be used as much anymore (ie: the long drawn out pauses in dialogue, extreme close-ups on the actors’ faces). Fat lot of good it did them. These calls aren’t intended for your average shareholders to attend or participate. Only the majority or large amount shareholders get face (or in this case; phone) time with the C-Suite staff.

There should really be consequences for this sort of thing. Like a conspiracy charge or obstruction of justice. If an average citizen worked to muddy the facts surrounding a case like this, they’d be charged. Why should your position within the system provide any immunity?
