I can’t believe the FIA blessed this track. Its liked they looked it and said
I feel the reason for this death isn’t that reason people are in love with crossovers, its because carrying more than two kids all but requires a third row.
Free idea for Uber: Introduce a program. For a fee, it’s drivers can agree to have Uber background check run on them. When approved, they get noted on the app with a special blue star icon or some such, so users will know whose certified and who is not.
I enjoyed reading your opinion. But when you decide to express it in a COMMENTS section.... you know... As for me, I applaud anyone with the balls to start a business. I could give a shit who they are. They’re to be admired.
Why do you even care? Lordy.
I think they’re opposed new regulations which are, let’s be honest, targeted at them in particular. Any same person or company would be.
Which car most defies conventional opinion?
LMAO
Wind and Solar and impractial, but crowd favorites. Easy cheap applause.
The subsidies are a waste because its a bad use of money. Here’s why: 1). Nuclear is a mature and well understood technology that’s available now, and it meets both emissions and power generation requirements. Solving the waste problem is also well understood technology that hasn’t been yet adopted.
Nuclear is here and now and optimal.
Every rooftop...~so let’s say 90 million homes.... An average battery back-up system is 8 batteries, so we’d need...720,000 million new (big) batteries, plus 15-30 panels for each? Who will pay for, install and maintain all of this?
Wind and Solar are being fueled by massive subsidies sentimental reasons and applause. It’s not a logical solution, and doesn’t make any sense for utility-scale applications. We need clean power at-scale, and fission and fusion reactors are far and away the best solution. On the subject of fusion, you talk as if no…
Perfection not in the realm of what can be expected from wind and solar.
For small scale, like for a single home battery back-ups sure—but for every house...and utility-scale! Learn to love strip mining, my friend.
Doesn’t matter. Fusion will trump everything, and the tech is becoming closer to reality with each passing day.
You’re right. The cost efficiency gains have come a long way, but we’re well past the point of diminishing returns. And it’s still very expensive power.
One word, politics. Research into reprocessing was defended. This is all academic anyway. Fusion reactors are going to trump everything that’s now on the table.
