I'm starting to wonder whether or not someone is going to whack Lord Robin.

That sounds like an infinitely better experience than my time playing CoD online, which involved angry puberty victims calling me a small dictionary's worth of racial epithets that could in no way feasibly apply to me as an individual.

Not gonna lie, it's a pretty competitive field we've got going here.

Oh yeah, that bit about the wildlings being a tragic people is spot on. It was really telling that the most effective rallying cry that could be delivered their way was, "Does the last generation of wildlings want to be remembered as cowards?".

The general bleakness of that scene aside, I was happy for Asha that she was getting hers. The more the series goes on, the more I like/root for her character.

Yeah, this right here.

I think Nedd got at least +50 The North Remembers loyalty points for being beheaded under the orders of the least sympathetic human being in Westeros.

I felt Arya's abrupt stupidity had echoes of Stannis' from last season. Certain plot/writing parameters were deemed necessary, so character behaviors were forcefully molded around them in ways that felt out of step or narratively off.

Not directly, no. But apparently Weiner tries to defend himself by saying, "Look - at least I'm not sodomizing a 19 year old and posting about it on the AVClub! What do you think I am, some kind of degenerate?"

THAT is fascinating. And if an intentional creative choice, really well played.

I'm slightly disappointed by this iteration of Euron. The actor is great, but this Euron lacks the cold, calculating slyness of the original Euron. He's more boorish and loud than smooth and cunning.

"Whatchu talkin' about, Willis?"

Wait… have I found another person who also enjoyed the meanderings? I rather liked them. And here I thought the AVC consensus was that the meanderings were a literary sin so grievous that GRRM deserved to be disemboweled with a salad fork in retribution.

What boggles me about the whole Anthony Weiner debacle is it might be the least sexual high-profile sex scandal in American political history.

Idiotking… when is your weiner NOT in some kind of danger?

If only Peter O'Toole was still with us :(

To be fair, the guy is fascinating enough that I personally wouldn't complain if they rolled out a quality John Brown biopic.

I certainly am!

Dude, that's completely heinous.

There's no need to get teste.
