Best one of these in a long, long time.

Yeah, I hear you. Remember jokes? On the AV Club?
...remembered as the decade of snark, a period where being smart and funny also meant being witheringly condescending towards everyone and everything that wasn’t in on the joke.
My guess is someone up the management chain thinks non-adult focused cartoons aren’t in the wheelhouse of what content they want to focus on. That and/or non adult cartoons are not getting the page view numbers they want which might actually be true. While there is an audience of adults that do watch kids oriented…
Are they even covering any cartoons at this point besides Steven Universe? AV Club readers who like cartoons are out of luck.....
I loved that Dewey still had a grudge against Donald for not naming him Turbo. Glomgold actually saving the day with his completely illogical plan that made a logical mind like Lunaris couldn’t fathom was hilarious. Also, someone needs to Kickstart Sharkas.
That was a fun end to an entertaining, and uneven season.
Kevin, would you go so far as to say “that was a hoot”?
“You turn the page. You get mad on the internet. You turn the page. You get mad on the internet. You turn the page. You get mad on the internet.”

So after all of this, we’re getting two James Gunn comic book movies?
Allergies.
Full House? More like Big House, amirite? Up top.
I’ve been a film critic for more than 8 years. It is pretty neat... that is, when you have at least some control over what you get to write about, and aren’t required to watch two or three new releases each week. In other words, when you consistently freelance while making additional money elsewhere. I’ve been very…
I used to be a film critic. You honestly watch over 100 movies every year that you would never sit through in your entire life if you weren’t being paid to do it. And you have to write lucidly about them. People who say, “I’d sure like to do that” don’t even consider that aspect of it. You don’t just watch the damned…
I was disappointed that this did not, in fact, turn out to be a funeral for Madea’s entire family, as the title implied.
“I mean, you said almost exclusively nice things about this one and gave it a B-.”
