Actually she stated that she does not plan to sell the painting or profit from it. Of course those are only words, but she at least says this was not about making money.
Staten Island is a big haven for law enforcement and conservatives. Pretty much every person that I have met that is from Staten Island is either a cop, firefighter, employed in some kind law enforcement job or is a conservative.
