49, 5 years, and it’s either feast or famine because we’re long distance. It’s not ideal, but it does keep the spark going, since I usually want him more than I can have him.

Thank you for your service!

Ugh. I had an exhausting online argument with a friend last night. She’s fallen victim to the moral panic surrounding trafficking, and was psyched to have just turned in a local massage parlor to an anti-trafficking group. I tried get into the subtleties of the situation with her, but she persisted in her rescue

Eat the cake, Anna Mae!

Ugh. Pretty much nothing, it seems.

Which is why we host women’s Wikipedia edit-a-thons at my library!

As a women’s history archivist, I love the idea of restorative justice in this format.

Of course. I was just coming back to say I overlooked your quotes.

Sorry, missed your quotes around “inappropriately.”

“She may have been dressed “inappropriately” as they charge ...”

I’ve been in the grays here for years, but it took no time at all on Splinter. I’ve stopped trying to figure it out.

Don’t know Jubjub, but MD is definitely a dude. I don’t have a problem with his comments per se, but he’s a real manspreader in terms of how much space he takes up in a place that’s supposed to be for women.

Calling them “colleagues” rather than “friends” is where the shade comes in. Expert-level shade.

Thanks very much! We might had a brief exchange before about your sister? I hope the surgery resolved her issues. I had my hysterectomy back in September, but you know how Essure wreaks havoc on the female body. Bayer needs to pull that nasty business off the market. I’m rooting hard for them to have a day of

This week I maintained an organically good mood for four days in a row, which is a big deal for me. I’m coming out of a long, health-related funk (Thanks, Essure!).

Days when you lose a beloved pet are always the worst days. I had my last dog for 13 years. I’m sorry.

p.s. I was also around 36 when I got sober.

Imagine how foolish I felt that time I went to urgent care with hives all over the lower part of my body and it took an entire circle of med students staring at my bare ass to diagnose me with an allergy to the dye in my new pants.
