Also, for those who DO use zip ties, invest in a set of flush cutters (not scissors or knife or even wire cutters) for snipping off the excess. They won’t leave the well known sharper-than-the-devil’s-pitchfork pointy stabby bit that the other tools might. And they can obviously be used to remove the zip ties entirely…
