WTF are you on about?
I was a D1 athlete in the MAC and trained at the Olympic Training Center - now that the athlete dick-swinging contest is out of the way: That works for you. Problem is we know it doesn’t work for most. Half a championship game isn’t shit.
I think the idea is that poor sportsmanship should disqualify them from competing any further. Which, I dunno, I’m probably OK with that. One thing the world could certainly do without is further generations of hyper-competitive jerks.
Can we have the “wypipo” references and the drinking of white tears at a minimum please?
The fact you think Wilt Chamberlain wouldn’t even to be able to play at the college leve, let alone the pros, is fucking ludicrous.
The former theory is improbable simply because it would add nothing to the story, and would be just a twist for the sake of a twist. The latter is patently absurd; Rhaella Targaryen was shipped to Dragonstone by loyal knights and gave birth to Daenerys. None of them had any reason to do such courtesy to Ashara, let…
I am as needlessly hardcore geeky as it gets, but the powers at be at Star Trek should have flat out said, “They have ridges because now we can afford to do it. We couldn’t afford it before on the 60's show. That’s it. There will be no ‘in-story’ reason given and the difference between them will never be acknowledged.”
I know they don’t make them. Apparently I didn’t know they had so many films, I just see what they pickup and release on bluray when I see a review on hidefdigest. As far as your list goes, I have seen Citizen Cane (meh), Fear and Loathing (good), Life of Brian (I didn’t like it nearly as much as Holy Grail), Silence…
Let’s not limit this to just white men.
I just want to give a shout out to the amazing geology on display for this year’s Dragonstone location shooting. The scenes on the beach surrounded by that amazing folded strata are just gorgeous.
Agree 100%. I thought Ford nailed that “Mike Hammer-esque” tone and delivery.
It’s interesting how the audience is torn over that voice over, it’s good they don’t need it but I kind of enjoyed it. Lent an air of noir film making to the first film (but it was admittedly very much filling in a film making gap in the story telling).
Star Trek is living under the boot heel: it’s about conforming. The villains are the rebels. Star Wars teaches us to rebel: the heroes fight the corrupt system. At least that’s what I understood.
Sure there was. It was panned by critics though. They just couldn’t appreciate an alien romcom.
It was a long time ago because it took those floating words a great deal of time to finally reach us. They weren’t exactly moving at light speed remember.
Yes the telekenetic Jedi will have a really tough time with that.
Tides?
Alright Americans, let’s talk:
And the, say, half an hour of dragons flying overhead wouldn’t clear people the fuck out? C’mon, man. Think before you gripe. You’re only irking yourself with made up ‘plot holes’.
