It’s the weakest of the 3 films, by consensus. Adrian Brody and Topher Grace? Seriously? Both the other Predator films’ casts kick the ever loving crap outta the 3rd film. It’s not even close. I liked the 3rd film, but it’s just not up to par with the first two.

Yes, and it was based on a novel published in 1972. Everything that came after that was just 80s action film cliched crap.

Pop culturally speaking in the 1980s, Rambo kicked the crap out of Predator. Arnie’s big pop-culture thing was the Terminator. That’s how most people on the planet know him. However, as far as things holding up over the long haul, Predator has the last laugh, IMO.

It’s also like everyone forgot he made Robocop.

Anyone who saw Robocop before ST and didn’t get what Verhoeven was doing with ST, is just a sad person, imo.

There was no way to make that movie for that budget without sacrificing something. I hate that the power armor was sacrificed, but I love the film.

The Bourne saga was a series of novels first, starting back in 1980. There was actually a tv movie back in 1988, based on the Bourne Identity novel, well before Damon started playing him on the big screen.
