Unless they want me to spend $40 first?

Yeah. It’s mainly a created problem. I tend to just drop games and never pick them back up if go to something else.

That’s not a bad idea. Usually I want to play games in a series in quick succession because when I finish a game and put it away, I forget the story REALLY fast and that makes it hard to play sequels, but it seems like Yakuza games have recaps of prior games so that might work.

It bears noting that Tales of Berseria is a prequel to 2015's Tales of Zestiria, set in the distant past of the same world. You don’t need to have played Tales of Zestiria to enjoy Berseria, but you will miss out on plenty of “Ah-ha!” moments. You should probably play Zestiria. It’s good.

I remember this having an ABSURD amount of DLC when it was released in Japan. Do we get all the DLC? Is any of it baked in or are we going to have to purchase a lot of it?

How much more FFXV do you have? If you’re close to finishing it, I’d say just finish it. But, all the postgame stuff in FFXV doesn’t really relate to the main story (IIRC) so I don’t see it being an issue if you do Tales of for a while then finish FFXV afterwards.

Hmm then it really sounds like Y2 isn’t that much of a downgrade, guess I’ll play it then. Thanks!

But, no, the contrast between Yakuza Zero and Yakuza 4 isn’t anywhere near as stark as that of, say, Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag on the PlayStation 4 and Rogue on the PlayStation 3.

Thanks! Since 3-5 are on PS3, they’re not THAT old so it’s not like jumping back to an old PS2 game that’s 15 years old and not even HD, so I’m guessing I should be fine. Just gotta wait for Kiwami then!

Do you think it’s OK to skip 2? Not sure I wanna whip out a PS2 for that.

I don’t understand the doom and gloom about launch titles at all. My 3DS is probably one of my favorite video game systems ever and I have a bunch of games for it and have put massive amounts of hours for it...and I didn’t even get it until early 2013, after having 0 desire to get it at its launch.

FFXV is one of the few games to give me that weird nostalgic/sad/bittersweet feeling at the end with the photo and the campfire scene but you’re right, man is it flawed. I’m actually fine with the Luna ending as like a happiness in the afterlife type deal

I hate the censorship debate as much as anyone but I completely understood what they were getting at with putting it in quotes. I do that all the time to mean “I don’t really mean this exactly but it’s the closest word I could come up with.”

That’s what was crazy to me. Decided to get an XB1 controller for my PC because the drivers needed to make my Dualshock 3 work on PC weren’t really playing nicely with some of my software. Bought a used one for $53 and found out it wasn’t the model that worked with Bluetooth, which kinda sucks but is probably my fault

If Legendary Super Saiyan Broly put on a shirt I don’t think I’d be able to differentiate between that and the pic above, the muscles are so absurd

The clip is super fast so I can’t reaaaaalllllyyyy tell but by “female version of Broly” it really just seems like “female goes Super Saiyan and turns into male Broly” as opposed to like a female Super Saiyan. I’m not super well versed in DBZ lore so maybe all Super Saiyan “forms” are male but that just straight up

I think there must have been a story today that somehow related to this story, because it seems like it popped up in a bunch of people’s feed or something. Also doesn’t help that this article came out middle of January last year so people probably didn’t even notice it was a 2016 article.

A $300 portable with $60 games would be a disaster. The 3DS failed at $250 until they reduced the price to $170
