Apparently it’s actually from the books and there’s a reason she wears it.

That’s actually a good idea, definitely think more schools should implement that.

Did anyone ever watch Kara no Kyoukai? That was one I always thought was one of the prettier ones I’ve watched (not that I’ve watched many)

Not gonna lie that turns me off from watching it. Apparently the guy we all know and love is actually the 2nd guy, and when I watch some old ones with the first guy I really can’t get into them.

I just can’t wrap my mind around Gwent for some reason. The 2nd duel I had, against the Nilfgaardian Noble in Vizima, kicked my ass. I spent two hours, from 1 AM to 3AM, trying to beat him and when I was so exhausted I finally did.

Did you not see any of the press from the devs? It was literally meant to be controversial, but did so in a way like a teen says edgy stuff to be controversial (that is, we all roll our eyes at someone being so lame and cliched).

Wouldn’t be surprised, especially if that Nobel Laureate was teaching a class and wasn’t a great lecturer (which isn’t all that uncommon)

Would that kinda lend credence to the fact that the NX might be the next handheld, or the handheld-console hybrid?

Just downloaded the free trial but haven’t started it yet. Realistically I’m not gonna stick with it (already subbed to 2 MMOs right now) but I do wanna check it out. I really did love the trailers and the personality

Hmm.....I’m not too sure. It’s certainly not a Zelda-type experience, and multiplayer-Dark Souls is a better approximation. I’d say they’re similarly difficult but MH isn’t as aggravating

Hoping the combat isn’t TOOOO flashy and over-the-top but holy shit this looks amazing

Yeah I can definitely see why people don’t like it, but it just hasn’t been all that uncomfortable for me. Granted I’ve only seen the one trailer for Hatred so maybe it’ll be unsettling when I play it, but based on that the gore wasn’t really that graphic compared to other games while MKX fatalities can be hard to

Also, mostly agree with that Hatred article. I personally don’t really think the game is all that controversial and it looks pretty tame compared to other M games (like Mortal Kombat).

Hahahaha “let’s move on Dad.”

Haven’t heard much about the game, and having just watched a trailer it’s really not that gruesome at all. I’d never play it, but even realizing how it may be different from other games that allow the killing of normal innocent people, I still got way more grossed out over Mortal Kombat fatalities than anything in

Man I just cannot get into Gwent, that game is hard. I had some trouble with the first guy in White Orchard, then finished the quests, then after meeting with the Emperor in Vizima I tried to beat the Nilfgaardian Noble. Played him from 1AM to 3AM just trying to beat him once and finally did.

No, you missed the joke. The joke is that it’s not unbreakable. Read it as if there’s a “/sarcasm” tag underneath all of it.

Yeah, it’s a great game if you’re into open world stuff. The horse controls are solid, but the controls for Geralt himself can be a bit wonky (they’re a bit TOO realistic) especially in small spaces, but you get used to them.

The tutorial for 2 isn’t that great a representation of the game. That thing is HARD. Honestly, if you play on the lower difficulties, you don’t need to worry about all the bombs and signs and stuff like that. If you don’t like the controls in general, you probably won’t like W3. They’re a lot more....cumbersome.

Having read what areas you can go to, I’m actually kinda surprised at how many areas you can’t go to. I didn’t read tooooo much press about the game beforehand in terms of plot so I thought this would be open world in the sense where you can go back to a lot of places you’ve been to before: seeing Kaedwen and Vergen
