I heard that if you’re playing on console, using a “sleep mode” esque feature on the PS4 or XBox One still leaves the counter going.

They said that it was supposed to be compatible but not sure if it is. It “technically” is if you use something like ds4wrapper (I think it’s called) or xinputwrapper which are actually pretty easy to use

There’s a couple complaints about movement being wonky, the bad inventory UI, and general crashes and stuff, but when it comes to the core game itself there’s lots of praise.

I don’t either. It’s VERY much a game from 2007, and pretty clunky, but I was fine with the combat and the setting more than made up for it

I’m hesitant about an MMO, but I know for a fact that if CDPR were the ones to make it, the NPCs and setting would be the most well-done out of all the MMOs.

Why, particularly for W3? You’re not really better off, as it’s not suuuuper substantial DLC. And even if it was, I see no reason why coming back to the game later is so bad. Or, who knows, maybe the base game itself will take so long that even if you got it now by the time you finish it the DLC will come out.
