Yup, and the old ‘guns don’t kill people, people kill people’. Ugh. People with access to many, many guns commit these acts - they wouldn’t be able to (or at least wouldn’t do as much damage) if our gun control laws were stricter.

I’ve fired firearms. I don’t intend to own any, but I was trained in gun safety and how to shoot by an NRA safety instructor I knew from church who was a Korean War vet. The man was actually for common sense gun legislation because he knew first-hand the kind of damage firearms can do.
