What bothers me so much is that in theory, sure, false rape accusations are terrible, and it’s true people are petty and spread stupid lies about each other all the time...but given the fact that 97% of rapists never spend a day in jail...the argument that women are running around making false accusations out of scorn…

Because rapists have every incentive in the world to believe what they’re doing is fine and women are just hysterical- even more so when they’re liberal men who think that because they’re on the right side of SOME issues, they are objectively right on ALL issues.
