Between 55-65 is the ideal Miata weather: Cool enough you won’t get sweat in direct sunlight. Heat on low if you get cold. Engine happy with cooler air. Not so cold that you can’t get your tires up to temp/immediately crash on summer tires.

Those seats are pretty narrow...

Didn’t the “third spring” come about because of the above.

Long range and absurd acceleration parlor tricks might be all the rage but the actual, practical application of an EV is basically this (also an argument for PHEV with like 30-50 miles of EV range).

There should be a rule for auto interiors: If it is a function you might use within 10 seconds of opening the door, it should be a physical control (seat adjustment, mirror adjustment, HVAC, volume)

Why buy a 4Runner when you can get a GX?

Most people are jerks

It seems like the occupants were tossed from the vehicle fairly early into this incident and it may be an extremely rare instance where that may actually be preferred. Rolling 400 feet down a mountain is a long time to be strapped into a vehicle that’s rolling 400 feet down a mountain which at some point generates

I think the outcome here would be the same whether this person was in a Bronco Sport or a Sasquatch equipped Bronco.

This has to be an absolute blast on a narrow back road.

Was he “targeted by the establishment” because he became the face of the meme stonk hilarity? Sure...but that’s because he worked for the establishment with the required licensing, reporting, and control agreements which he was flagrantly and publicly ignoring.

This is going to be awesome when you need a refill on pickles and onions during the lunch rush and the 1/3 pans get swapped in their spot in the cooler and the entire system comes crashing down because the pickles are where the onions need to be and the world descends further into chaos.

This actually seems like a decent attempt to sort out a lot of the problems that SBMM creates in other games. This is supposed to be a sweaty ranked mode so matchmaking makes sense. However the alleged weekly reset would also keep friends of different skill levels or “good casual” players from being stuck in an

Goretex and plenty of similar “outdoor adventure fabrics” are pretty cool things for boots and jackets but one spirited jaunt down a tree lined trail at vehicle speed is going to shred these.

Isn’t the main distinction between L2 and L3 that the L3 system gets itself out of harm’s way before shutting off? Which ultimately means L3 is entirely pointless because we will just have an endless loop of L3 systems shutting themselves down and pulling over in response to other L3 systems being shut down and pulled

I drive a 3 year old Lexus GX because I firmly believe than new old cars are equally as good as old new cars...

Given the way a lot of people with 4wd/AWD think they can handle the snow, I’m honestly ok with telling them they can’t stop any faster.

I have no issue booting the throttle. I do have an issue with having to boot the throttle at all times so I can accelerate reasonably with traffic.

There is a difference between “not fast” and “not enough power to get out of its own way”. This is often a fault of powerband and gearing as much as power to weight ratio.

This does indeed slap. I even like the 4 spoke wheels which is something I never thought I would say for a car made after the early 80s
