FWIW a buddy of mine recently lifted his Passport and added aftermarket skid plates and it seems to do just fine at the off road park obstacles he has taken it through. I’ve been pretty skeptical of Honda’s AWD systems because of the CRV’s (formerly?) useless system, but so far his seems way more capable than I

This absolutely slaps

All the black plastic on the front/rear Wilderness bumpers looks dumb but it does appear to be in the places most likely to be driven into the ground or a tree or a rock if you’re actually out on a trail.

There are plenty of vehicles that can benefit from a modest lift as part of setting them up for light/medium off road duty like overlanding. “Factory Lifted” stuff like a Raptor, ZR2, Rubicon, TRD models, etc don’t need it unless you have overloaded the factory setup by adding 800 pounds of tents and fridges and crap.

If you are legitimately overlanding, like driving across Australia or something, they make sense: They are quick to set up (the good ones at least), you don’t have to worry about ground conditions outside of finding a levelish spot, and the next morning it’s easy to collapse back down and be on your way.

It looks like the truck and the car behind (maybe a 3 series or similar profile?) were racing/hooning with each other. Both the truck and the trailing car move into the center and appear to think they’re going to fly past the Accord on the left, despite the Accord turning left.

Though I share similar reservations about the combination of American cheese (product) and pizza crust+bell pepper I feel like this would turn out better by baking the uncheesed pizza in the usual fashion then add the cheese. Either the hot ingredients melt the cheese or you pop it back into the oven for 30 seconds

I get why the manual wouldn’t work for anything using throttle management but why wouldn’t you get auto high beams?

Any cheap suspension modification.

We have 1 local restaurant that does a really good tenderloin for like $30 (it was $22 in the before times). It’s a nice cut of local beef, roasted potatoes and root veggies, chimichurri and a poached egg. It’s basically the only restaurant steak I enjoy because I could make it at home for like $8 less but I have to

The 1st gen cars weren’t underpowered as much as they just had a suboptimal power band. I know it’s not apples to apples, but the 1st gen toyobarus and the Fiesta ST had pretty much the same power to weight ratio and nobody complained that the FiST was underpowered.

I feel like Genesis should have gotten the Ioniq 5's angles and Hyundai should have gotten this.

It definitely does not look like a luxury EV.

The other Genesis designs are actually quite good but nothing about the above conveys “luxury EV” in any way.

I think both look great and fill interesting spots within the sports car hierarchy.

Having additional options for mapping single button presses is totally fine but the ability to map button sequences to a single paddle press seems a little sketchy.

LOLLLLL

All of the manual Hondas, except the Civic Type R, that I have driven in the last few years have had this awful rev-hanging/super slow throttle response thing which is very disappointing to use with a manual. The CTR was great but it seems like the rest of the lineup is using the same throttle response tuning with a

If your kid is less than 6 feet tall a Crosstrek really is the ideal first car:

“Designing bear proof trash cans is very difficult because there is quite a bit of overlap between our smartest bears and our dumbest park guests” will forever be one of my favorite observations.
