The Toyota Tacoma...
“I don’t think anyone with any measure of intelligence is recommending ditching a perfectly good car for an expensive EV to save money”
Both the NSX and LFA had the same issue with insane product/launch cycle times. By the time they launched, they were some combination of old news/being overshadowed by a surprise Ford GT and bench racing against the GTR.
This is a fool-proof formula for time and content:
If I had a spare $125,000 for a fun car right now I’d be taking a hard look at the upcoming Lotus Emira.
“Thanks to Halo Infinite’s skill-based matchmaking, too, it’s practically unheard of that players who know about skill jumps would end up in a match against players who don’t, so it’s not like their inclusion throws any profestations of balance out of whack.”
Does hacking several inches of bodywork off a perfectly good Lexus count as an install? My wife thinks I’m pretty dumb (and also wasn’t thrilled about my off road Lexus mods)
If I were going to build a race car, I’d look for a Miata or a Toyabaru. If I am just looking for cheap, stupid fun out of the box, the Fiesta ST is the answer.
The inclusion/assessment of Richmond is spot on. The market (and associated realtors) basically got too big for its britches.
If “best driving roads” is determined by average road topography + amount of traffic + amount of time/distance required to get to the good roads, I have to say its West Virginia. Pretty much every road in the state is a lightly trafficked mountain playground.
He overshoots the backside of the ramp so a 6000lb truck appears to fall over 10 feet straight down. Given that suspension, tires, and seat cushion did a little bit, that means the dude inside probably had the equivalent of falling like 8 feet right onto his tailbone.
So they’ve given their EV crossover the potential for racecar fast steering input but they’ve also eliminated any way of receiving actual steering feedback AND they made it variable so I guess you just turn the yoke and hope the car sorts out how much it should turn the wheels.
Call of Duy’s anticheat already has some sort of 0 damage mechanic for cheaters. That stops the cheater from getting kills. It seems like making everyone invisible is meant to shut down wall hacks/ESP type cheats (assuming it makes player hitboxes/backend stuff “invisible” and not just visually on screen)
The in-game hilarity (making cheaters do 0 damage, making other players disappear, etc) is to ensure the cheater doesn’t have fun regardless of how many accounts they create to get around a ban.
Hardcore off road racing suspension has way more overall travel than a Raptor, but also has way more complicated suspension design to handle this kind of impact.
Height, not distance, is the problem here.
The vast majority of DUIs and DUI crashes are not from people who actually only had a couple of drinks. There is some slippery slope concern with this law, but the intent appears to be reframing DUI from a “crime of negligence” to a crime of decision.
A magnetic tray/bowl is always useful.
A basic automotive air pump is something everyone with a car should have. The cheap ones are fine for small tires but having recently upgraded to a Viaair 400 something I can never go back. I can reinflate 4 32 inch tires from 18 to 35 psi in like 8 minutes. It rules.
